Hi everyone my question is is gorilla glue a bad strain for outdoors or something. My last grow big bud thx bomb lsd were all about 4ft tall by this week but my gorilla glue is 1.5ft max everything else in the garden is pretty small too not sure if it’s the weed killer killing micro organisms or just genetics. I’ve been noticing some grows the gorilla glues always the smallest plants but there’s confusion they say it’s a Sativa dominant but mines is 60/40 Indica dominate grown from seed put them outdoors may 20 6in tall

The temperature fluctuations this year have been stunting everything. At least in my area, Southern Ontario. If you've been seeing crazy swings in temperature too that could be the problem. I've seen a lot of threads in this section mentioning that they're growing gg#4, I was assuming that was Gorilla Glue.

Wasn’t temp or weather I think temps been consistent and weathers been sunny in the day rain at night I think maybe the rain leached out the nutrients but idk I put some soil amendments in and fed once a week I started feeding more last week thinking lack of nutes was the issue but
Here’s my amendments I used npk might not be right not sure what brand came together bought on eBay

Kelp meal 1-0.1-2
Alfalfa meal 2.5-0.5-2.5
Fish meal 8-6-0
Neem meal 6-1-2
Fish bone meal 3-16-0
Crab shell meal 2-3-0 crab meal 4-3-0
Oyster shell meal no npk 35% calcium
Gypsum calcium and sulfur loosens clay soil
Gaia Glacial rock dust Magnesium, Calcium, Trace Minerals
Bat guano 9-3-1
Azomite 0-0-0.2
Worm casting earthworm 1-0-0
Bio live 5-4-2

Total npk - 37.5 - 33.6 - 9.7

And yeah gg#4 is gorilla glue I’m growing gods glue from ministry of cannabis it’s a new strain there so maybe there’s the issue idk good strain though for indoor it was growing pretty good indoors everything else died of overwatering but not her had 10+ plants

I swear it’s the soil grew great in 2016 since then nothing but shit weather and last year had a corn plant that stayed about 20inches total all season I planted it in May, a lot of rain though not much sun

GG4 was my best strain outdoors last year. Best mould/pest resistance, best yield and best smoke.

One thing about GG4, if you get mites thats their favorite plant. It's like candy to mites. They will walk right by other strains to get at the GG4. Doesn't sound like the OP has the original GG4 because it gets really big really easy for me.

Is your Gorilla Glue getting the same light as other plants ? Shaded by a larger neighboring plant(s) ?

I just chopped my Gorilla Glue plant. It never got to be very tall but I may have "flipped" it too soon after I put it in the ground. I got it as a clone last spring and only left it under a night light for a couple weeks. The yield was not as big as some other plants the same size however the section of my garden where I planted it might have been "cursed" because the Gorilla Glue and a couple of neighboring plants often seemed to get knocked off-center by either an animal or the wind at night.

I decided to give all my plants a little dose of Epsom salts because I want to see if it makes their stems thicker and stronger. I've had branches that seem to break off too easy, and the Gorilla Glue stems were kind of spindly. But that could easily be my fault, not due to any deficient genetics in the strain.

I've been feeding with Miracle Gro and I just looked at a package the other day and noticed it says to feed every two weeks or so, and I haven't been doing that by a long shot. I think I've been fertilizing once a month, perhaps, but my plants never show any definite signs of being malnourished and I don't want to end up "growing rope."

FWIW I have grown a cut called Super Glue (CA Collective, San Jose) a couple times indoors and always liked how it performed. Great flowers.

This is how she looks I’m at week 6 not my diary

This is the strain mix from US genetics and an Amsterdam one

Doesn't look bad, no obvious deficiencies, just like you said though, a little on the small side for its age.

I wonder how good its root system is and if maybe they suffered some tears in a transplant ?

Yeah but honestly she’s 10weeks going onto 11 Friday since I placed her from paper towel to cups so shes underperforming WAY too much I don’t know about roots or transplant shock but I bought some recharge today should arrive by the 8th either way she should’ve recovered a while ago and got to Curt’s 1st plant size by now planted her in ground on May 20th
Fimmed 1 once and started lst last week and pulled 6 fan leaves 2 max every few days to allow sun to bud sites and topped yesterday cause I wasn’t sure if fim worked anyhow last time did similar on a few different strains even an auto by accident and even the auto was bigger than she is now meanwhile photos were doubled in height shading the auto idk what’s wrong with her but hopefully recharge boosts her up a little bit

You could just have a runt. It happens sometimes. You should still get bud off her, if you're lucky she'll be one of those tiny plants with a huge cola stuck on top.

Could be it is a new strain she still has a another month to go hopefully she’ll grow when she catches on to the daylight hours are decreasing. I’m trying to follow this grow plus my own techniques to maximize her she’s already this growers plant on 7/6 so I got a week extra and they yielded 1lb on average
