Anyone grow lowryder (or ganja dwarf)

Hello everyone!

this is my first thread, second post so thanks for having me.

my question is about the lowryder strain which i have chosen for my second grow. I currently have six seeds germinated and in soil. I have chosen to grow organically, but my question is has anyone who's grown this strain have any tips? Is there anything different about growing this from other strains? If you have grown it, what specifically did you do. I hope this isn't too vague or stupid, i'm just very curious and determined to get this right. They're in a greenhouse, by the way, and i'm in the southeast.

thanks in advanced for the help!

If your in a greenhouse there is little advice that can be given except they like very little nutes, some people side with giving them 1/8 of the recomended amount. They are easy and relativly hassel free. If you have any controle over the lighting, they seem to prefer 18/6.

Yup Mzn kinda said it all really.

Keep an eye on PH, anything that might stunt the plant will seriously reduce yield.
I always use a bio bloom grow, and top maxx all the way through the grow until the last wk to 10 days...Use 1/8 dose of grow nutes(as your soil will have enough nutes in it from start to finish) and start off using 1/6 bloom stimulant, like top maxx, then build it up to a max of 1/3 to 1/2 recommended dose...
They absolutely LOVE molasses, use it as soon as they show sex...1tsp to a litre of water, use every other watering....flush every 2 or 3 uses...then re-apply as before.

Personally i harvest when the trichome ratio is around 40/50% cloudy and 50/60% amber..Thats what i'm smoking now, and its a nice up-high thats also quite couchy

They usually take a good 14+ days over the breeders 60 days, in a greenhouse you will probably be looking to around 70-85 days from start to finish...but theyll be quite fat by then:)
Indoors they finish earlier, usually around 74 days is prime picking.

dont use pots that are too big either... i tend to use no larger than 1 or 2L, and theyre fine in those.

Males show sex around day 17, females tend to be around day 21-24

theyre an easy grow, they dont yield badly(as some report) if you you grow them with sufficient conditions, with some nice bud to be smoked at the end :)

Enjoy

thanks for the help everyone. I'm a bit concerned because the soil that the seedlings (well, almost seedlings) are in has a high nitrogen level to begin with. I did this mistakenly as i thought it would increase the number of females, but after reading some of the threads here it's pretty much assumed that they mostly grow 50/50. Should i be really worried about this? I was down there talking to them, begging them to be strong. I hope they listen...

lol... well i'd see if they get nute burn from the soil first, kinda suck it n see affair.
you could try flushing the soil, to lessen the N but bare in mind that you'll also be lessening the quantity of other available nutes...
they should be fine, just keep an eye out for any potential problems.

I've got 5 Dwarf/Lowryders going right now. It is day 32, their under 400w setup 18hrs of light and still haven't shown sex or any signs of flowering. They range from 14" to 10" has anyone had an issue like this?
