Anyone growing their own nutrients- flowers, grasses etc that have all the nutrients you need to grow without any/many external inputs? Would like to learn more if so
THAT ^^^^ Pretty much sums my feelings on this also.I mostly think of worm compost as the center of all of this. Make your own for better quality for less $
i'm 38 and beat to shit...THAT ^^^^ Pretty much sums my feelings on this also.
I also have a dedicated comfrey bed, but 90% of the cuttings are just used as feed for the worms. The stems and stalks (10%), either go back in the comfrey bed, or the other raised bed garden as they take longer to break down and are a PITA when harvesting castings.
Besides, as good as comfrey is, it's even better after going through a worms gut and better yet, the worms do all the work. At 67 and beat-to-shit, K.I.S.S. becomes a necessity.
