Anyone had their weed analyzed in a lab? Where?

In my opinion and this is just me please dont bully me, testing will give you bunch of numbers but smoking is the true test. How much thc could mean shit to me I trully dont give a shit, the terps the quality is what matters and best test for that will always be smoking the thing, again this is just me

Why would you need to test it unless you were selling commercially or breeding and looking for specific levels of cannabinoids such as THCV?

I've looked into it but the labs all want a license number from a licensed grower to test product. They don't typically test for some dude growing a few plants in a tent. At least here they don't. They're busy enough testing flower and concentrates being sold in dispensaries. Plus in legal states these places could lose their certification to test if they get caught up testing blackmarket weed. There are enough licensed growers and processors to provide all the business they can handle. Some of the equipment is extremely expensive and many of the testing labs test other things as well not just cannabis.

And don't waste your time with those rip off devices you use with your cell phone.

I looked into it years ago and then again recently when a breeder that knew I had grown a specific strain that was high in a specific cannabinoid inquired if I had it tested. I couldn't find a lab that would do it without being a licensed grower. I'm in a legal state and can grow recreationally without a license but all the labs required a license number. That's the information you needed on their websites to setup an account. Maybe I should have called them to verify but someone else I know tried to get something tested at a lab and they wouldn't do it so I just moved on. It's not that important to me.

Well that's in MA and you have to drop off the sample. So if you're in MA you're good to go. You just have to drive there.

@xtsho @bigunyun im thinking contact a local licensed grower and see if he/she would send it in for you. I've tried looking for my states local licensed growers contact info but they're more secretive than i expected

I appreciate the offer but please don't bother. I have resources if I really had to have something tested. It's just not worth the bother unless I can just drop it off at the lab myself. Plus I'm really not that interested in tests results right now. Thanks anyway. :peace:

Yea I brought a few samples down there to get tested mostly for kicks. I was testing a grapefruit web to make sure they were 1:1s and they were. For my non-cbd ones I eas more interested in the terp profile.
