Anyone have a opinion on this Led

Pics of the actual sides.. just start poking around the edges, man. Find where its screwed or clipped on and take the thing off already!

Take out the hex head screws on one of the end caps, remove the end cap and the diffuser should slide out. Then reassemble the end cap. The diffuser is going to likely be blocking a minimum of 10% of the light being on there.

He should take it back and get his money back. And buy a cheap led grow light from Amazon. Once he takes it apart. And realized he wasted his money. Hes gonna be stuck with it.

If you've already got a florescent ballast for T5/8/12 they make bulbs with LEDs in them as direct replacement. Much much cheaper.
Honestly it's probably cheaper to buy the bulbs anyways and also a fluoro fixture separately than to buy a fixture ready made with led bulbs.

Price on the one you showed?
The Horizon strip lights I use are 300 & replace 8 bulb t-5's
If he owns that already it will make a fine veg light.

Meh, simply unscrewing the end piece n slidin out the diffuser won't ruin it. He could easily put it back together and return it.

You can lead a horse to water... I still dont think its a bad buy for a simple, efficient veg light ready to hang right out of the box. Now we just gotta see whats under that damn diffuser. Curious minds wanna know. :-P

You'll never know. It's a secret. But I'm gonna guess it's some shit like these below.
