Anyone know of socials or groups around Albany?

I keep reading all kinds of threads that talk about socials/groups/get togethers where people can meet other patients, have fun and find legitimite growers. But the threads that list them always seem to be in Portland and only vaguely mention Eugene/Salem/Corvallis. I'm not afraid to drive a bit to find a grower and maybe even some freinds, but Portland is a little far for me. I was hoping someone would know of these meets around Albany. Salem/Eugene is about as far as I can go. I Don't know anything about these socials but I am the listed caregiver and grower (until we can find a grower) and my wife has major issues with crowds/strangers so it would need to be socials where I could go with her.

And although not the point of this thread if there is any growers around my area looking for a patient, were in the market for one.

the CRC (http://salemcrci.org/) in salem is good for hangin out. for activities the PGN in keizer can be better, or worse depending on your view. although i dont like the club pitbulls and the smokeys lounges, i see these 2 places as more of a benefit to OMMP, so i tolerate them well. hope it helps.

Are they ok with caregivers being witht the patiants at meets and such?

As long as you have your card you are welcome at meetings and clubs.
