Got a friend growing 7 or so plants of my bag seed I had saved. He planted her in November 2018 and topped her early this year I think.

Edit: forgot I can just upload images lol

Those smooth odd leaves look like re-veg to me...
My friend is an old timer that has only been growing for a couple years. I've seen enough plants in my 5 years of growing that it looks just weird to me and new. Tried looking up mutations and it seems like it won't be passed down if I decided to breed it.

Told him to finish it out and let it continue growing. I took a couple nugs to dry and cure to see if it's any good.

It will be a monster when it finally flowers again. It’s looking damned good for a reveg.
So no mutations and it's a normal thing for revegging outdoor during the winter? My buddy thinks it was stunted.

I plan on trying to take clones from the 7 plants he popped from the seeds I gave him.

It will produce mucho marijuana. It’s a mutation but a good kind.

Yeah man I only ever makes clones from girls about three weeks into flower because the results are just crazy. But yes that thing is gonna be a monster...

I also seem to have an easier time of cloning from flower too for some reason. I think they stay alive longer while they make roots and don't seem to wilt as much and need as much humidity for some reason too.

Keep us updated with pics please
We are leaving it. I'm basically having to go over and answer all his questions. He can grow everything just fine but the drying and curing is COMPLETELY lost on him and the meds.

He grows primarily for his son with cerebral palsy. Overdrying and nerver curing and grinds it up into a shaker for him to just add on his food!

I tried explaining decarbing and activating THC but he's had his ways throughout life I guess.

I'm over seeing more and more when time comes to chop and I'll be updating with photos

It’s not normal to see a plant re veg in winter as it should be in late flowering as the light is still decreasing not sure where you are in terms of winter solstice tho.

Saying that, if it survives the winter into spring it will make a fantastic mother plant for clones.

We live in California, smack dab in the middle/East Bay Area. We had a pretty cold winter last year.

I belive he had it in a pot and was moving them close to the house to get under the roof a bit to try and protect them from the elements.

These 2 are sisters that look to be a sativa dominant while the other 2 near by are indica dominant. Then 2 more he plans to leave in the pots on wheels are also indica looking.

At least see if you can get him to grind it onto some hot cheesy pizza or something... Might help a little. Seems odd, but it still has it's own benefits without being decarbed... and yeah, makes that whole dry/cure thing kinda pointless anyway so...

I figured cause it's just going on hot food maybe it's still getting some of it activated. But he's over drying to the point that the stuff he tried to bust out all smelled like cut grass and had no effect on me with TONS of seeds.

I just found out that he's only been growing for a few years. He's in his mid 60s.

It all made sense to me why his end product has all been such low quality cause he has no idea and kinda just winging it.

Sad part is that I've seen some of the monsters that he's had in the back yard and they disappear... I don't pry too much but I've personally just started my own grow and I'll try my best to help him.

I'm new to photos and have only done autos but I plan on trying to clone the best plants he ends up growing.

I’m not clued up on seasons in the US which lead to my confusion lol.

So November was your winter? Born into flowering and then you got to spring which triggered a re veg....makes a lot of sense now.

I generally start outdoor grows in spring and finish up in Autumn. I only grow colorful auto’s in winter.

I personally started my first time growing outdoors. It's all weird to me as I've only done autos and indoor only.

I have well over 80 seedlings to cull from and pick the best of the best. Bunch of bag seed but what better when your new to outdoors. :bigjoint:

I started indoors and transitioned outdoors. Have to say growing outdoors really made me understand my indoor grows a lot better.

80 seedlings.....I don’t like the sound of the weed your smoking.
I was being literal. I have about 70ish seedlings in a 5 gallon fabric pot, 5 x 1 gallons and another 7 in cardboard pots.

I'm calling the 2 bag strains I got going now "Sonny OG" and "Free K" pronounced freak.
