Hi RIU,

I grow in dwc. Two weeks after flip.
I found some black bug on my root zone. Please help me identify what it is. How do I get rid of it?
Big thanks. Happy grow everybody!!

I believe it's spring tail larvae, use azamax, peroxide, neem oil not all at once lol all three seem to work azamax is best.

Like you, I was guessing based on the photos. Budworms can be Green, Black, Brown and sometimes Pink. I agree they look like they could be springtails too, but based on the provided photos it a little hard to differentiate.

I would NOT agree that they look nothing like budworms, yet.

OP, got any close-up photos?

They look nothing like budworm larvae, they are green not black.
Parasites shit. Probably it is time for spray.

Thanks

If they are springtails then most people don`t have any issues with them

If not then they need to die

Spinosad is great for killing bugs, but I`d try dipping the roots in wetting agent or doing some kinda dip, spinosad is great stuff but as you normally mix it with sugar to get it going it can cause root rot if your unlucky
