ohhh you took some unmarked clear liquid from your grampa who has no clue what it is other than...you cousin gave him some super industrial fertilizer..you cant find out from that estranged cousin ,so you use it on a plant / then drop it on your skin...hmmmmm i didnt know this was about intelligencethank you for your intelligent input... i'll ice it down and save it just for you

all experiments carry a little risk.... just have to go about them in a sensible way... which i believe i have.... and as far as the skin thing, come on; a patch of skin this size
, is not going to be a danger to my overall health.... you take more risk jumping off a car battery... ever been burnt by battery acid??

i couldnt agree more,and i am sure you are a pionering sort,all experiments carry a little risk.... just have to go about them in a sensible way... which i believe i have.... and as far as the skin thing, come on; a patch of skin this size
but remember most of us, myself especially, cant even follow the directions on a store bought fertilizer bottle, much less give advice on the mystery jar.. lol..glad it didnt burn ya..
ohh and yes my first job was at a full service gas station, i have large red splotches all over my back where a battery exploded on me...took 27 months for those hot acid burns to heal completely.. shweew glad i had my back turned.. stupid thin 80s muscle shirts...

i can tell you for certain its not anhydrous ammonia. for it to be in liquid form it has to be really, really cold. ammonium nitrate would have a whitish hue to it. my only educated guess would be that your cousin came by something from a business that sells agriculture grade liquid fert. be careful because i grew up farming and a little goes a long long way with that stuff. after any contact wash hands or any contacted area immediately
