I had some unknown issues with my first grow attemp, so I decided to buy seeds and start fresh..I got bubbleicious x 5 and Ice x5 from Nirvana...ended up with 4 bubbles and 3 ice...today I noticed these tiny spots on one leaf of plant number 2, i think..and #3 has what looks like a tiny tear on the edge of the leaf...am hoping I am not headed down the same road, but everythings different, I sterilized the room, started seeds in vermiculite and root riot plugs (just to see which did better)
I will post the pics but the particulars are, 1000 watt MH conversion on an HPS ballast, which I just moved closer 2 days ago, It was like 4 foot away, and I read they needed to be closer, so I lowered them to a little over 2 foot (25")away. Checked them every hr or so to make sure they tolerated it well..
Am using a Cap EBB&GROW 18 bucket system, with only 6 pots hooked up presently, am doing the "lucas formula" GH micro and bloom 8/16...but at a diluted rate, just raised to like 580 PPM because 3 plants were having lightening of green on new growth (need for more N?)
I foliar spray several times a day, 2-3x w/ PH adj h20 and 1x with a few cc's thrive alive red(free nutes w/ the system I got) and a gtt of superthrive. And after I noticed the lighter green new growth I added a few ml's of clonex to it for a little extra N..today the green is more even..but I found these little spots, was hard to even get a pic they are so small, but I want to let nothing get away from me on this my 2nd attempt at my first grow.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, and thank you, in advance, for any insight.
Also, I have only about 25 gal in my 65 gal res.PH down to 5.5-5.7 before any flood and drains (I have to do these manually as my brain bucket is not working properly and leaking, and they want me to buy a new one before I send in this for fix/replacement, but I am leary of this..)..when it is done draining the PH always raises to 6.0-6.2(any idea why?) so I am adding PH down 3x a day to my res.It has only GH micro&bloom, hygrozyme, and a trace amt of h2o2.
Today is actually only week 1 since filling res. prior to that was feeding/watering by hand. any help needed!
