Anyone know what this is?

That thread details the process of making do. You will need to know where it's sitting at so a good soil pH meter (not those crap analog ones) will be required or you are just guessing. You will have to fight it until chop and unless you know where it's sitting you will just be guessing.

The indicator I saw was the stripey burn pattern. Every time I have seen that symptom I check the soil pH and it's low, like lower 5's or even 4's. If you are really low then you will want to do a few hard corrections with a pretty high pH and then you will need to keep on it with lesser corrections.

If targeting 6.5 - 6.8 (you should be) you may end up having to water at 7.5 ish all the time after the hard correction. Knowing whats going on in the soil pH wise is critical or don't even bother. It will swing between feeds, so lets say you are at 4.5 and you wanna be at 6.5 you might feed at 8.5 and check the pH every few hours until next feed and watch it drift down. It's a lot of work but you can pull off an excellent crop (save a crop) and next time find a medium that has a more agreeable pH. I like to take my pH meter and stick the bale before I buy it and see whats up. So very many problems I have had with inconsistent pH from suppliers like Sunshine, Promix, Berger... I am still hunting for a good peat based mix that is actually consistently in the 6's pH wise.

Hope that info helps you in your quest. Happy growing!

Only 1 out of 36 with this tho? You’d think more would be showing this since they’re all in the same soil same water schedule. I also didn’t plan on pHing right now cuz these are going outside soon. I’m gonna top them one more time and take cuttings from the ones I like best and try my hand at hydro for my next indoor grow. I got everything I need on hand for that basically except a net pot which I could probably make.

For sure. I got the 3 part hydro nutes and some other stuff already on the way for my next set up with the hydro. They say they have ph balancing tech and there’s no need to check anything. Anyone have experience with these and dwc or hydro?

@Renfro pretty much hit on head .... Ph swing
Those dark brown areas between are indicators for it.
Note : those leaves will never go back to looking to normal , you are just trying to block it further. When ph is off ( different than plant wants ) ... deficiency will follow.

Sta Green isn’t the greatest Soil out there ... ( you will find rocks , large bark and other assorted surprises ) , BUT it can work somewhat. This soil is available in large big box stores and the quality varies . So .... get the ph back down to range needed for your plant. Target 6.5 ph with this soil. This will allow plant to pull from best range of available Nutes.

Get a PH pen or at a minimum PH drops / strips to check PH of both water “ going in “ and or feed ( when time ).
Local Hydroshop will have PH down or PH up ( depending what’s needed for the water you are using ) . If running TAP ( for example) ,
test with pen ( see where it falls ) and adjust with ph products . Very little is needed to bring up or down.

How are you watering ? ..... Type of water .... tap , distilled , RO .
Each have different variables to factor in.

IMHO you will leave that nute line in the future .... I don’t look at bottle with cartoons . There is no “ special “ nute line out there.
It gets expensive trying to buy all of their unnecessary/ hyped shit. There are great lines like Jack’s / Dynagro / GH MAXIBLOOM
and others I sure other growers will recommend.

If interested in hydro ... lurk the forum for hydro grows ( hydroponic/ aeroponic ) section. There you can see various feedback.

Actually watered with the advanced nutrients ph perfect micro grow bloom and it actually bounced back. Almost immediately the new growth started reaching up towards the light. The ones that weren’t having any issues look strong and healthy except for a platinum that’s been a cry baby since it popped. If the moisture on my breath touches it the leaves drop but it started getting the same spotting as the cherry d so I hit it with that before it spreads. Also just noticed some thrips that gotta gooo so will be taking care of them today. Also notice this weird I guess mutation I’ll call it. When I topped it one side grew with one “set” of leaves and the other with one branch with more leaves. Weird.

<lookin at all those little plants> Man, you're gonna have your hands full in a month or so. :weed:
Lmaooo I don’t even wanna think about it. I’m topping them again in a week or two to take cuttings from the ones I like best giving them another few weeks to heal up and figure how to harden em off and they’re going outdoors

Some nice strains in there, good luck outdoors.
Thanks man. It’ll be a close call in all of them except a few. I wanna climatize the strains I have first then in a few seasons start mixing them. I got some gg#4, a few blue dream that are definitely getting cloned just to have more, one cherry diesel, a bunch of sour, wwxbb thc snow kush. Once I get them climatized it’s won’t be so bad. The grow season where I’m at blows.
