I’m growing in coco so yes I feed twice a day and always with nutrientsEC kinda high for a tiny plant like that you feeding everytime?
There are holes in the cups and I’m using the kind led x420 at 75 percent. It’s about 4 feet from plants.Do you have holes in those cups? I'm assuming yes. Also curious about your lighting specifics.
That was my first thought to because after inspection all my plants have a tiny bit of yellow at the tips on the new growth.Do you have holes in those cups? I'm assuming yes. Also curious about your lighting specifics.
So the x420 is 420 watts so at 75 percent it’s roughly 300 watts which is about where you are with your light as far as ppfd goes. I do have that app and I get about 400 ppfd at canopy.1st post ever here and still on 1st grow but would think burnt tips on new growth could be the light. Seems too much intensity at 75% and also 4 feet away seems far. I have a 600w hlg blackbird and 2nd week in flower and have never had it above 50% and no closer than 30" yet. When was that size I had light on about 25% and 3 feetish. Just a thought. Maybe get a free app like photone or ppfd meter and check the readings compared to where you should be now. Also can just do the hand test and so long as it isn't too warm with your hand then it probably is fine for the plant
Ph water of my solution is 5.8 to 6.2 I started on the higher end of that because I was told calcium intake is better with a 6.2 ph and growing in coco I needed that. I’m also using ro water with Calmag to stable it.What’s the ph of your water? Are you using tap water from a well or city?
OP says 6.0What’s the ph of your water? Are you using tap water from a well or city?
When I was in seedling stage like that I was on lowest setting or 2nd lowest setting of a 600w so was more like 100-150w tops. I was in 50/50 coco/perl and went through same thing. If you at 75% what are you gonna do in veg? 100%? Then what happens when flip to flower just stay at 100%? I could be wrong but it should be more of a sliding scale from seedling to veg to flower and at 75% you don't have much room to increase intensity cause already did. I know all lights are diff but that seems crazy high for a couple week old plant and also way too far away. What do you think would happen at 25% and much closer like 28-30ish?So the x420 is 420 watts so at 75 percent it’s roughly 300 watts which is about where you are with your light as far as ppfd goes. So that’s kinda why I have them so high so that way I can lower it during veg for more ppfd. Also during flower there is a separate uv,red and IR channel that’s currently on 0 percent which i would turn to 25 percent 50 then 75 and so on. The reason the light is so far away is because my driver is outside my temp because I was dealing with high temps and the cord for the driver to the light is very short so I can’t lower it much. When I was in seedling stage like that I was on lowest setting or 2nd lowest setting of a 600w so was more like 100-150w tops. Yes I use ro water and I am giving it 2ml per gallon bringing my ec up to .2 then adding the rest of my nutes in.have you been feeding her any cal-mag?
