Why do you cherry pick certain parts and try to twist it around ? Are you arguing for the sake of arguing?
Yes we are after clean hash. My point was purity and melting have nothing to do with each other. Now every hash maker cure their hash for at least 6 weeks. Shit, Matt Rize cures his ice wax for a minimum of 9 months. Frenchy even had some 5 year cured hash at Chalice. Bubbleman man had his famous 10 year cured hash. Just like with buds the longer you cure the better the flavor. Most people want that long cured hash, ice wax or buds. For one the terpenes polymerize and also decarboxilation takes place. Causing the release of co2 gases and the thca converting to thc and break down of chlorophyll.Curing for a long time is a major part of the growing, hash making and ice wax making process. Not curing is just plain stupid and waste of a grow.
Go ahead and don't cure your stuff. No one will want to smoke it.
Btw candy kush will not melt.
If purity has nothing to do with melting how come the food grade bags of bubble do not melt the same as the smoke bag grades of the exact same strain, eh? You have an explanation for that or are you just going to ignore the OBVIOUS fact that this is true?
Green matter does not melt. Does it? Nor do capitate stalks.. DO THEY? No, so your argument about purity not mattering is complete and utter bullshit, but we already knew that.
Dry sift is made from dry material that's usually already been aged for weeks and/or months. Lol.
And who said I don't cure it? The point is you DO NOT NEED TO, dry sift has already been curing for a long time before it's ever made, it's not fresh off the plant wet like most hash makers are doing, get a grip.
Sure, you can cure dry sift for years.. to what end? To prove to people you can stick something in the freezer and make it a bit more potent? Congrats *clap*. I don't care if it's been cured for 9 months or a year, and nor do the people judging contests around the globe as the majority of those hashes are made a month or two prior to cup events and then entered and they still win over anything else that's been entered.
I love how you continue to bitch about 'chlorophyll breaking down' though.. uhh.. exactly how much of that do you see in my pictures? 1%? 2% total in some of them? I'm not going to wait a year or more to enjoy something that's already basically as pure as it's going to get, lol.
I've saved dry sift for 2 years and 3 years before and the flavor and potency was basically identical, there is no point to sit on it any longer. If you think so, you go right ahead.
Fwiw, Kandy Kush (if it's the same strain) was originally from here in Oakland at the 3rd floor.. it was trainwreck x og kush, and yes, lol.. the resin melted just fine.
I've never made sift that didn't full melt at that purity.. but I guess somewhere out there apparently are tons of strains that won't melt when making hash..and for some odd reason you people continue to grow them and pass them around.. hmm
