Anyone see anything like this before? Metal in weed

My sister picked up some bud for me because im waiting for my stuff to dry.....noticed metalic flakes....very fine and tiny flakes.....its this a nutrient that was used or....excess cal-mag? not too thrilled about it

ANY THOUGHTS?

Maybe he grew in a work shop or something? Alteration in his grow area, drill filings?

Looks like sand. That would all weight...

Wish your pics were more in focus.

Best way to use that would be to vaporize it - Not burning the product may keep harmful material from getting into your system...

It seems to be a ferrous metal as the flakes and power are magnetic.....smoked a good half oz of this before i noticed....hopefully it wont harm me too bad.....grinding it up and getting a really strong magnet to pull it all out, still gonna vape it to be safe.

Would love to get my hands on the asshole that did this!!! Clearly added what looks to be Iron for weight.

I highly doubt someone added metal filings to your weed for weight.More likely someone has a bad setup or something going on with their bud trimmer.

BINGO those are filings from a bud trimmer .... some folks use metal on metal dry trimmers ... NOT going to hurt you at all unless you use a blowtorch to smoke ...

I agree with this and the post below it. Grinder pieces or trimmer pieces most likely. Sorry to see bad product out there. Most of us try our best to do the most clean job possible.

I do use a grinder that is in perfect condition, its not from the grinder. The grinder is space grade aluminum....non magnetic metal. I can see this happening with a messed up trimmer, but it looks intentionally done.....theres way more than what you see there......ground it up and used a magnet and pulled quite a bit of powder which had a redish brown to it....at first glance looks like keef, but its magnetic......personally thing some scumbag did it on purpose, got my money back and some extra compensation for my troubles.

It personally disgusts me as a 99% organic grower that people would do this to add a few measly grams

I could get behind this idea, but some of it its so fine its like keef.....magnetic keef....unless it could be ground that fine from a trimmer?

Sounds like metal shavings from a trimming machine.

Broh same shit happend to me when i bought a shitty grinder the worst part i bkught one for grindig herb.. to eat and yes there was metal in my food.. my wife ate most of it.. she ahait

Its not the grinder......its not a shitty grinder either...space case.....very decent grinder....have used them for 12 years...usually get a new one only if i break the screen, never had a tooth break, shavings or anything.....99% sure this was altered by someone

Thats the grinder that i bought.. a fucking SPACE CASE! SHITTY GRINDER.

Sounds like a possible solution is to grow more so that you don't have to go elsewhere for your herb? I mean, we've all been there before but you have the ultimate solution at your fingertips imo.

Is it just me, or does anyone else expect someone to say "this is why you're supposed to flush before harvest?"
