anyone suggest how to setup canfax/maxfan

Just starting out, have a gorilla 9' by 5' and a pair of HLG 320xl 3000 K. I know they won't light the whole tent(thought about blocking half off)plan on hooking up caxfan max 8' to my canfilter 50. I have 25' of 8 inch hose, two 8" clamps, silver tape just not sure how to set it up and what else I would need but money is running out so any thrifty ideas how best to set fan up is welcome as I Have no idea how might best as that canfilter 50 sucker is heavy and don't want to get beaned checking plants one day if hung from ceiling lol
Anyone find an alternative to Can-trol® 120 V, 10 Amp($300.00 beans up in Canada ouch)
that won't burn motor out like I read most cheap speed controllers do?
Can vent to outside close by BTW and will be cold here when growing so heat isn't an issue yet.
 
Np. Is that what you were asking, how to setup the filter and fan in the tent? Also I didnt know the 8" max needed one of those voltage regs that canfan sells, thought it was only for the 12-14"? I dont run those max fans but ive used the cheap speed controllers on my box blowers and vortex fans and never had an issue.

Yes I was wondering how to setup fan and thought I had to hang it so air could go through filter both ends but that makes sense what you suggested and much easier to do I assume just block off end you sit on floor?.
The 6" fan had 3 speeds but 8" needs a speed controller as that sucker is some powerful when I tried it out. Not used it hooked it up yet but no regrets getting it just dont need all that power till maybe plants were big or gets hot in summer and I use full grow area one day. For now I will just use it way it is till I can be sure I wont mess it up as heard the use of some speed controllers can harm motor and reduce lifespan of fan as cheap speed controllers I read(but could be marketing ploy)constantly send a stop/start signal to control fan speed rather than reduce amps to slow it but gee thats alot of money can-trol wants for their controller ,will search around see if canfan endorses any other controller.
Any guesses how much area 2-HGL v-2 320XL LED kits(640 watts total) would light?

I had to lol at this a bit, you must be new to growing.. The filters are blocked on one end already, how else would the air go through the sides? lol :P Dont worry everyone has to start somewhere!
The cheap fan speed controllers are just regulating the power output being given to the fan.
Not sure on the led's, thats not my wheelhouse. 3- 315 cmh's would light that tent up good. I see your in canada too, whats your plant limit, or are u doing 4 rec plants?

Really, oh boy never noticed , gotta clear room for tent first never even opened filter yet.
Have legal medical for 15 plants.You? yep in Canada , just outside of Toronto you?
 
Right on, with the 4 rec plants you could do 19 plants! im on van isle. You going to start with clones or seeds>?

not sure, I have seeds I guess go with them to start
also allowed to get clones too
any idea a good licensed clone place to buy from?
