anyone try dinafem critical

anyone try the dinafem critical? lookin for some info before i buy? is it worth it?

I have a critical + in a party cup 12/12 from seed and she is looking beautiful. Nice solid nug my girls are sleep right now but i can take a pic in the morning for u. I think shes about done

Have a few that will be done in a few weeks, they smell kinda citrusy but not to strong. It seems to be a very strong and easy plant also and the ones that I topped really responded well. No smoke report but a buddy of mine ordered a pack of knockoff White Widow and Barneys LSD, the critical + was his freebie and also the one he liked best, he called it a super yeilder, I'm not sure about that but it still has a moment to go!

I'm on day 53 of flower and it is a great plant. I will definitely put another in my next garden. Pretty skunky and can take a hell of a beating. I'm on my first grow and will probably yield 2oz's off of this one with 150w hps.

Here's a basketfull of critical + from a free seed

There are clones floating around here, from what I have smoked, its pretty medicinal. Averages about 1 gram/watt with good training, probably half that without.

This stuff delivers so far. I am currently in the middle of a grow w/ dinafem critical+ (my first experience w/ the strain). you can check my grow journal in my sig to see pics of it. I labeled which plant is which in almost all my pictures so you'll be able to see it pretty easily.


I vegged mine for 5 wks in a 5gal pot. topped once or twice (pretty sure it was twice). Im using 2 600w lights with 6 plants split between them. the critical+ shares a light with my two other biggest plants ( critical being the 3rd biggest. )

Its recently started to smell (in flower) and it smells FANTASTIC. fruity, sweet, candy like. very pleasing smell and to this point smells better than the rest of my plants. buds look like they will be pretty huge. so far its one of my favorites of the group. cant wait to harvest and smoke some. just based on how it performs id say its worth it. i think its gonna be a heavy yielder as well. hasn't given me any problems so far w/ nutes, water, anything really. its very hardy.

holy jesus! i hope mine looks like that at the end of flowering. Mine (as you can see in my journal) is only maybe 2 weeks into flowering.

how long did yours take from first pistil to chop? the Critical+ i have has the best scent of all my strains and it looks like its gonna be one of the biggest producers of the bunch. have you had a chance to smoke it yet? if so whats it like?

I don't remember how long it has been in flower, but it is a fast finisher and good producer. The only thing I have that smells better is TH Seeds Heavy Duty Fruity. I will chop in a couple weeks, dry and cure time, so I won't be burning some for a while, never had it before. It came as a freebie from Attitude.

now thats what im talkin about. nice pics. i just ordered a pack of them from the tude and got there promo deal. they must be feeling nice with that promo cause i got 6 white widow, 6 critical jack auto, 1 ch9 afghan haze and a reserva la cheese. we will see.

oh i see. well it looks like we ordered around the same time as mine was a freebie too. I was just slower to plant mine. i love it though. its one of my favorite plants im growing so far.

it has the best smell but since im early in flowering im sure there will be more smells to smell. lol. the best smelling strain i ever grew was white berry from paradise seeds. I got it after reading another poster (forget who) had grown it and had an awesome smelling starburst pheno. I bought a 10 pack and low and behold I got a starburst pheno too! it was pretty awesome. too bad that starburst smell didnt transfer over to the cured bud. the cured bud was more fruity/floral and less starburst scent.

still good though.

My favorites this time around (so far based on what im seeing) is the critical, the strawberry cough (even though it stretches like a bitch) and the sensi star (1st one to start getting frosty).

i just wish i had a better pic of my critical from the side view. its really bushy and dense in terms of leaves and bud converage. I LST'd, and topped twice.

ill try to get a pic of the sideview today when i turn the lights on (plants are currently in their 12hrs of dark per day)
