Anyone try LST and Pruning

Like the thread says. Which one is better for more yield and for cfl? Post pics if you can.

Im not sure about the lsting but I have to say the pruning is only going to slow down the pl;ant and turn the initial stock into two shoots instead of one and it will get super bushy and you can keep pruning the shoots each time it will keep making more and more but I say if you have the room to let them grow, let them grow. Let me know and I will get some pics up tomorrow

LST is useful if you don't have a strong light source, but alot of space. It's easy as pie and works best on lanky, stretchy plants.

Pruning, IMO is useless, unless you have a micro grow or a ScrOG. Pruning only reduces the amount of light your plant can use, so I say it's a no-no for simple grows.

Oh and dont top it too many times cause you risk a possible hermie.

Yeah, topping more than two times is a bit of a stress for any plant.

Still, better topping than fimming. IMO fimming is way more stressful on a plant than a simple topping.
