I saw them tbh an induction led combo seams better and gives you more choice and 2 independent units.

What`s the price on them ?

I mean you can get 50w or even 100w led chip units now if you want to get a custom chip per plant or something my big chips are kicking some ass in my tent right now.

the thing is, that we all know that fluorescent tubes are worthless at any amount distance, theyre to be used up close next to the plant. With an LED that has to be at least two feet away, the fluorescent tube wont do a thing. so its a gimmick, they should have just sold the uv lighting seperately

you know my instant reaction was wow caus it was all space age and power and 5 watts hell and brimstone "MADE IN THE USA" QUALITY! but the comments above kinda sum it up
about the strip added
Im sure its appealing to middle age men
but looking again ? it kinda looks like a car bumper from the eighties ;)
as for is it any good ? yeah it could be ok Ive never tried a 5 watt chip and its got a lot of them...... 1800 dollars good ?
I think you would be paying for the cosmetics not the lighting
The only way to tell if the components are any good is to take a peek at the insides........ and i wont be paying for the privilege.

One of the better lights out in terms of quality components, superior build design, and proven results. If the price tag is an issue for you, do like damn near everyone else who purchases from them and do the growers feedback program to get a hefty discount.

its the strips mate I cant take it seriously that any company that has a t light that is going to do anything at all at 60 cm above the canopy I think its a design flaw and that doesnt give me the confidence in the overal competence of the person who designed it mate
Led s work full stop no-one I think here need's convincing of that I think
I just dont think the light was designed for growing more a marketing gizmo trying to hit the market with money you dont have to spend that much to get top notch results IMOA
however good luck to them

I'm not convinced those UVB bulbs are really going to do anything. Yes, there is research proving that plants subject to UVB radiation produce more THC. However, there are also studies that show that mildly drought-stressing your plants will also increase resin (as an anti-dessication self defense). My big problem with UVB is that it's harmful radiation... it destroys crucial components of Photosystem II, which is the engine behind photosynthesis... so while your plants may have more THC, there's likely less plant matter in general because photosynthesis was severely retarded by UVB radiation. Plus it alters DNA by creating lethal Thymine dimers, and who knows how many of these mutations are passed on in clones? Bad juju, if you ask me.

Sorry for dorking out here, Biology degree with a focus in Plant Physiology :)
The point is, I think these lights are a potentially dangerous gimmick.

I got the little 200w solarflare and I can't wait to crank it up come flowering, it is serious light! This is technically 4 200s and it is even a step up from the A51s

I've used the 357 Mags, Cheap UFO's, a 400w Solar Storm, and a 650w Lumigrow Pro. Lumigrow is my favorite so far, followed by the Solar Storm. California Light Works has the best PAR reading of any LED light I've found so far and it's working wonderfully over my girls right now. You're welcome to check em' out. I will mention that it gets a little warmer than most LEDs, but nothin' compared to an HID. Well worth the money, imo.
