Anyone use Earth Gro Potting Soil

I just went to home depot today to get some lime and some soil. I bought some Earth Gro soil. I think its made by Scott which is Miracle Gro. When I was reading the packaging and it says "This product is regionally formulated from organic materials (primarily derived from one or more of the following: hypnum peat, forest products or compost), sand, perlite and a wetting agent." It was only $5. There are leaves compost in it. I put about 5-6 tsp of Dolomite Lime per 3 gallons of soil and 25% more perlite and it drains VERY well. Anyone used this or know if its good to use from the description of it?

Sadly I can't offer any advice, just posting to say that I am interested in this as well. I'd like to hear anything you manage to find out! :D

sounds a lot like MG's Organic Garden soil, which has the same sounding list of ingredients
i love that soil(for the price), use 1 tbsp of dolomite per gallon of soil
but dolomite is pretty benign, that should work well
be prepared for fungus gnats, one of the downsides i've had with the MG soil, but they can be handled pretty easily

I used , I believe the same mix except no lime . Excellent drainage definitely but the ph was good at first now it went way down and I don't know how to bring it back . Speculation only I think the lime was a great add to your mix for the ph but I don't know for sure. My ph is now 2.0 after 6 days . I think it is acidic soil though .
