I'm thinking about purchasing the 1600W version for veg and flowering.
Thanks for the reply. I've seen many people bashing the "blurple" LEDs, but many backing up the performances. So, I was just really curious. What's a good LED for under $700?Never used their lights, but they throw a hell of a barbeque........ probably searing the meat on the backside of the "1600w" fixture.
Honestly look elsewhere grower, or stick with hid .......
Bro you can build one HELLUVA light with $700:Thanks for the reply. I've seen many people bashing the "blurple" LEDs, but many backing up the performances. So, I was just really curious. What's a good LED for under $700?
Yup.Bro you can build one HELLUVA light with $700:
No kidding! For $700 you could build a quality light that uses close to 1000 watts at the wall and very efficient. The Bridgelux gen2 strips are probably the most cost effective right now.Bro you can build one HELLUVA light with $700:
Oh they will grow, just like any other light will grow. But they're not any more efficient than HPS. and they are much more expensive. If you want something that will genuinely outperform HPS, look into COB's Quantum boards, Samsung strips, or Bridgelux strips. Those will lay down more photons per watt than any other light source out there. Thanks for the reply. I've seen many people bashing the "blurple" LEDs, but many backing up the performances. Welcome to the dark side....Do you build shit? Take shit apart??? Got a workbench? Perhaps you own a soldering iron? If you already own, a hacksaw, a drill, and some wire strippers you just may be a DIY LED newcomer....

Pro II takes me way back (mid 80s) to when Yugo first introduced their junk cars in 'Merica. My roommate was a salesman. I visited him one day and saw a Yugo displayed with a racing stripe along the lower side of the car: it said SPORT
