12 band, 180 actual power, replaces 400 hps, and optimal for 3'×2' area. Had Area 51 rw 75 and believe it was actually 90 watts of power. Was doing 1 at a time hempy to just get ised to it and see if its for me. Im going to get the auto pot system, so 4×3.9 gal pots using coco and perlite. Pots fees by gravity when each individual plant needs from 12 gal reservoir. Saw rhat cobs are a huge thing but im not a diy guu at all so saw Timber kits but didnt have a clue the differences in leds. Thanks for any feedback on the lights.

They're epistar LEDs.

Way overpriced.

And it doesn't replace a 400W HPS.

Timber is a much better value for your money. (better lights too)

While i appriciate your comment, you didnt really explain too much to me on why you feel that way. If you have more of an opinion im definatley here to find my best option. I think 4 plants in 3'×3' is the most id need in a light for now. I know that arra can easily fit more but thats really the only space i see myself growing in at a max. I wanted to get 8 site waterfarm system but not at my current apartment. Right now something that is good enough for 4 plants at a time, 65-70 days flowering plus 4-6 weeks veg is what im aiming for. Though if i can get something on the $500-$600 price that is good and will cater the 3x3 for futer im open.

I was looking at the citizen 300 on there. Was $599 if i recall with frame. Just dont know why cib is better than the other types of led. I didnt want to spend $600 right now, so if the 250 would work its definitely an option for me. Now i didnt see actual watt draw like regular lights. Is it actually 250?

That's the actual Watt draw but they dimmable so you can turn them down a bit if you want to. They don't rate COB's like CFL bulbs.

So the 250 on a frame is $469 which looks good to me. Few questions though. 3k/3.5k for spectrum, not sure which is better. Ill be using for whole cycle. Next question is how to deal with seedlings with this? Do i dim them of just keep them higher than the 18-20" for flower by most companies lights?

That's prety much the idea for seedlings, or you can start them under some softer CFL's until they get a few nodes to them then move them to the COB's. If you going to use them for full cycle go for the 3500k's.

The one from Platinum either uses Epistars or Epileds which are a low quality brand
Stuff you expect to see in dodgy Chinese products.

Citizen led is a proper Japanese brand with market leading efficiency.
A 250W citizen panel from Timber is actually 250 unlike dodgy* platinum.

This is a great light for 3x3

*Platinumled also got banned from 420magazine for dodgy/wrongful claims, despite 420 being pretty lenient towards paid promoters.

I've bee running a Timber 300 watt Cree kit for the last six months.. The cheaper Citizen cobs are as effective and would do a great job.. They weren't available when I bought mine... Call Dan @ Timber he will help you out..
