Neptune seed bank. Platinum. Terpyseeds. There’s so many in the USA that are great to buy from now. Seeds here now, harvest mutual etc etc etc.

Have a look around an see what people think. There’s no need to be buying from any uk or eu seedbanks if you live in the USA especially now with all the shit goin on here with brexit and the virus and the postal delays caused by both issues. You got much more choice in strains and breeders if you choose somewhere like platinum or another USA based bank.

I have zero experience with any that I listed as I’m in the uk so usually just order from attitude or Asterion depending on which breeder I want. But man I wish I could order from some of these USA seed banks. The annoying thing is hardly any of them take card payments anymore and I’m not taking that risk of sending cash international. But I’ve seen a lot of people speak highly of these banks

The only reason I dibble and dabble with breeders direct is to contribute to the underground game. That’s how the canna world should be. To cut out the big wigs.
There’s nothing wrong with ILGM.
I use them.. but I don’t ONLY turn to them gm for genetics. I probably have beans from breeders no ones heard of.. cuz I support the little guys too.
I think ppl just hate on Robert because he “made it” to say the least. When someone pays for 10 beans from ilgm.. they get 10 plants period. If it don’t pop, you contact customer service. As you would when dealing with a business, and they send you replacements. You have an issue with the plant, and you can contact them for help.. how many seed banks have support on standby if you have grow issues?
dealing with seed banks.. if you get your beans.. once you have them.. business is done and you are on your own. No peace of mind. Just hype on how someone else grew out said strain from said breeder. Now everyone wants the same beans.. and no one gets the same results.

Who’s it by? Seedsmans own brand? If so it’s likely not cookie gelato seedsman doesn’t breed his own seeds he jus buys bulk from Spain or somewhere and relabels and repackages them as his own like a lot of “breeders” do these days especially the eu ones. There’s jus as many if not more real breeders tho and I’m sure there’s quit a few who have crossed cookies with gelato based in the USA you can easily find. The results will likely be considerably better than if you buy the other ones.

Jus Checked and it seems it’s royal queen seeds. I’m pretty sure they are just as bad as seedsman brand of seeds are. they are not proper breeders either and just a reseller posing as a breeder afaik.

I’m sure there are many breeders in USA who have gelato and cookies crosses or even both together although gelato is related to cookies so there’s that. and they will have the actual legit genetics not just some random genetics that are named cookie gelato because the names are well know “hype/elite” genetics that will sell to people who don’t know any better.

Up to you who you buy from buy maybe look at cannarado or some other breeders that are more likely to have legit gelato or cookie genetics in their seeds and you’ll get better results.

This. I just didnt wana type it all and explain it on my first reply. As i said why waste thousands on electricity and nutes for a shit ass crop from unknown whatever seeds.

Your in the right spot..research some breeders in this section..find a selection your looking for (ie: cookie x gelato, also should be easy as shit and lots of breeder with different but similar offerings.) And look for reviews.

Cannarado, thug pug, relentless, jaws gear, csi humbolt, clearwater genetics (amongst others) would be good places to start.

Edit: cheap doesnt always mean good. Not that pricier means better either..but when it comes to seeds..go with those with good reviews and positive feedback. Seedbank choice is 1st proofcheck..breeder is next. Find a solid rep bank..browse breeders they offer..then see whats in stock & narrow down that way.

I got one of their deals. Buy 10, get ten free of LA Confidential. I tried ordering from DNA directly and seedsman (I think) and either they wouldn't ship to the US or I didn't feel comfortable about the payment methods. I was willing to try ilgm because they had LA Confidential and I wanted it. Shipping was a bit slow.

I've started two seeds. Both popped and are doing fine. I have no idea if they really are LA Confidential, but the seeds seem fine so I'm happy so far. We'll see.

I like how ILGM sells la conf in 20 packs. Never seen that option for dna genetics. Must be that spanish bulk option.

My sealed 7yr old la conf only has 6 fems. Weird.

You missed the point, Sealed breeders packs means they came unmolested from the breeder, not some middle man repackaging who knows what and selling it as something else.

I read that. I just didn’t see it as something that would be done by a legitimate business. And ILGM isn’t a middle man. It’s a company started by a breeder who took it to the commercial level.
ILGM is ilgm’s source. All their gear is backed. No other seed banks take responsibility for what comes in those sealed packs. They get beans sent in to keep stock, and I’m sure since they are sealed they do no quality checks. Couldn’t tell either way.
You and I can seal packs at home, and slap a sticker on it with some cool art, and call it whatever.
ILGM has their own website. Their own genetics. Their own customer service, and all types of helpful things on THEIR site.Some breeders just haven’t got all that, and they are the ones to more likely screw you imho. Sure there are some great breeders.. who have shit to show for it.. like Memphisto.. his genetics are so called fire.. but the source is just unreliable. Running out of stock within minutes like 2x a year. Independent breeders are like used cars trying to make it into someone’s lot (seed bank) just my take on it. As I said, I take my chances with quite a few ppl and I’ve never been screwed personally, but there are pissed off ppl everywhere that have And can go to no one for it.

If you’re shit gets stuck at customs seed banks MIGHT make you wait a couple months IF they decide to look into the location of the parcel, and you might... MIGHT get lucky and they reship a little more stealth like. Lot of the time the buyer is SOL.

Look at the reviews for ILGM on trust pilot or any like site...they’re not good. They’re also full of people that haven’t gotten their shit replaced, and get no response from customer service. The way companies respond on those comments is very telling, and ILGM uses patronizing canned form emails. Their genetics are a bit whack, I’ve had more failures, and the only mutants I’ve ever had were all from them. I said fuck it, put those beans in cold storage, and tossed out beans from Dynasty, Mosca, and Vashon...with 100% germination and survival. I gave my last ILGM plant away before ever trying the strain. I’ve gotten my last four orders from an operation where the owner packs and ships it himself, he even signs the package with a thank you. The best warranty ever is the one you don’t need.
