Anyone used Kind LED lamps?

They do ok, I've got an older Apollo 8 alongside my area51s. It adds a little heat, which is welcome in the winter :-P. Its lasted almost 2 years no problems. Inefficient, but not garbage.
Mine lasted about 6 months then the LEDs started dying, one by one pretty quickly. The drivers seem to be doing OK so far (with some quality LEDs now).

I don't know who these guys hating on Kind are. Hgrow obviously has a bone to pick. Don't know how you could say the XL1000 is just a rebranded light when there aren't any out there like it. The only one I've seen that looks like it is lush. All I know is I have actually used Kind lights for growing, and I got great results.

They use a custom housing and the same junky components as lush/blackstar/mars and many others. You could have purchased the same lamp without the kind logo on the case on alibaba for a fraction of the price.

Not saying they cant grow. Just saying they are overpriced so anyone reading your post doesnt fall for the same trap.

I will trade you 1 shot of your Skyy for one shot of my Absolut. Also, did you know they make a dark vodka now?

The Kind LED uses LEDs that are about 15-20% efficient. All they did is pay to have their name cut into the side. And have a crazy spectrum added, which anyone can do, but they do it at a very big premium. Do you want to pay $300 for a logo cut into metal and a spectrum that they say is super awesome and quite "saucy"? The Kind models except for 1 or 2 are rebranded Cidly Apollos, and the others are the same components as the Apollo inside a custom housing case, which were paid for by their duped customers.

They will grow, but cost per output is terrible. There are better options, Cree bulbs from Home Depot is one of them.

Owning a kind L6 I agree with @Eraserhead, but they got me for a grip. Oh well suck it up and learn your light set up, I started at .25gpw not I get 2 oz. Per gallon consistently under the lamp. Better lights are made yes but in the meantime I'm getting it done,AND learning about cobs, and saving $ still over paying club $ for club crap. A51 and clw still my favs, polar opposite lamps but great finish line possibility

The 5W LED Grow light in the market is 3.5W ,Cree 3W can reach 3.5W . So the brand of LED chip is very important .

Why don't you call them and ask? If it's too difficult for you I would be happy to.
The way Kind (Lush, HydrogrowLED, Blackdog, Platinum and Growblu) hype their lights, we both know they'd use the quality of diodes as a selling point if it were even remotely something to brage about. The fact that they're silent about it shouldn't be hard to understand: it's epi-whatever diodes.

A person can do better for the money. No secret sauce spectrum, no mystery diodes.
