Yes...but I started adding more light, as I test to see if the checkerplate will be sufficient for heatsinking.
It has no problems with the red phosphor. I suspect when I add the whites and blue it will get substantially warmer, though. For that, I have a couple VGA coolers which will go on the flat side (hence the reason for mounting the LEDs in the checkers, besides extra reflectivity. The buds can look at themselves when they start growing).
Oh, I'm running 24/0, too. Fuck sleeping!

Hello, I run cobs in micro and this is how I do it:

cabinet size:
17.5 x 29 x 24.5

Lights:
2 x ledengin 10w deep red
3 x ledengin 10w red
2 x ledengin 10w blue
12 x cxa1304 3000k

My lamp uses 149 w and last grow I got 158 grams. I'm going to add 4 more cxa1304 and two far reds next round. Small cobs like the cxa1304 is better for tight spaces to get more coverage, I believe.

If you don't wanna deal with the headache of putting this together, Amazon currently has a sale on Taotronics 24w LED Full Spectrum Grow Lights that fit in a regular CFL housing for $32 (half off from $60). I've ran these and actually picked up a couple more and you'll be fine from seed to harvest. I also used panda film to reflect the light.
