Anyone using Plant-Prod 20-20-20 for Vegetative Stage?

Hi,

I found this Plant-Prod 20-20-20 in Walmart and I was thinking to use it for vegetative stage.

I'm looking for some recommendations from experienced growers. How to start, dosage, how often, what to expect, etc.


Anyones Advice Appreciated!

looks like a good all around fertilizer for the veggy stage. i would mix it weak, maybe a 1/2 tsp to gallon of water until you see how your plants take to it.

damn those numbers are high bro...i wouldnt use it at all lol....but if you insist i wouldnt use it more than 1 time a week if that.....at a VERY low dosage..I.e. my veg nutes (blue mountain organics) veg nutes are 8-10-10 and i only use 1tsp a week of it so far. I dont veg long though and keep my vegged plants tiny.


so i water ONE TIME a week with nutes ,rest is plain water.
 
Those are the same numbers that you'll find in Jack's Classic All Purpose, which people use for veg all the time. I don't know what else might be in there, though, so ymmv.

With Jack's, the instructions say 1/2 tsp per gallon every other feeding. I just started Jack's and cut that to 1/8 tsp, and my plants seemed to respond very well.
 
i wouldn't start using it until your plants start showing signs of needing to be fed, the lower leaves will start to yellow. when you do start using, mix it weak and feed every other watering. it takes time to learn how to read your plants, you don't want yellowing leaves from underfeeding but you don't want crispy edges from nute burn either. what kind of soil do you have your babes in?

1/3 peat moss, 1/3 top soil, 1/3 perlite plus a bit of dolomite lime.

All those numbers show is thats its a 1-1-1 ratio, pretty close to your .8-1-1 ratio. Jacks Classic is 20-20-20 and has grown many fat buds on this site. I would start at 1/4 the recommended dose.....
 
thanks for posting this just baught the other day, the instructions indicate too use once per 2 weeks for best results but 1 per 4 for slower growing, theres also a flwoer stage one i baught too if you guys think those numbers are high lol... same company evrything its 15-30-15
 
I gave my plants a lot of fertilizer, about two tablespoons! Fortunately, I made a mistake on time! I flushing the soil... My cannabis plants are over 25cm tall.. how much more fertilizer to give them?help

I've been using jacks 20-20-20 during veggie state I grow in 5 gallon buckets under a light inside while dreary and cool then put it outside during the warmth and sunshine. I water with a two gallon water can I use 1/4 teaspoon to each 2 gallons of water they do awesome and I give it the whole 2 gallons of water. I have holes in the side of my buckets three good size ones all the way around and also on the bottom it drains beautifully. And they have come out awesome

Yes looking good. I would also recommend you try Jack's Citrus Blend, I think it fits better with cannabis.

Ok cool I'll have to try it I use the jacks bloomboost once the buds start. It to does wonders. I also water her everyday. It's worked great. Thank you for the tip
