I think you want UVB light for increased trichome production. That’s for UVA light.I was looking at this one from HLG the other day. I don't know why it says 4 ft Saber light. This is 2 ft and comes with the power supply.

how long can you run these in the 12 light period , before it damages the ladies ?
It sounds like you have to ease into it....and at 3 feet away from the plants during the last few weeks of flowering. I’m planning to run about four hours per day.

Someone was just telling me he has the 12watt , and he runs it though the whole 12 hr.
I just did a bunch more reading about the differences. It sounds like they both help, but the UVB is more potent and can damage the plants if you're not careful. And in that attachment it sounds like the UVA increased THC by 33%, but didn't increase CBD. Maybe I read it wrong, how about the link to the full article so I can check it out. I'm actually using the HLG boards with cmh this round. The cmh will provide both UVA and UVB for me.
CMH will not provide you uvb in a significant quantity....

They sure produce frosty nugs, and heard my Phillips Agro bulbs have a nice balance of both. I'm no expert though.
Nice, I can't argue with that. It makes sense that the harsher spectrum would make it produce more THC to protect itself. Thanks, that's great info. That section of the study that you circled does say they were using 385nm which is actually in the UVA range and they got a 33% increase in THC from that.
