Question of my life with them. I've been pushing them so hard to make one. It's in progress...it just keeps getting delayed or side tracked.

Quick update to get back on what I am doing...
Thinned the bottoms up and they look great. Nice and tidy.

I'm going to use half of my 8x12 room because these girls are going to need some extra side room. I might just setup some foam to help the open side reflect a little, and I can move it to whatever width.
Here's them still under 3 AT120's, waiting to be flipped. A fresh R2 in the middle

Really liking the growth rates ATM, are you enriching the air btw?......if great results come to fruition from this and puffs grows as well are enticing me to jump on the newer/cheaper panels down the line. Have you calculated the btu's necessary to cool this room? if any? what's the temp increase per panel added?

I'm liking it too. They did all that growth under only 314w(2AT's), I just added the 3rd one in yesterday. The reason I was originally going to use my bigger room was because it is setup to grow...cooling, filters, ability to hang lights, ect. This room that I have been using doesn't have anything other than the 3 AT's and a wall mount fan, plus I leave the door open. I honestly don't even have a temp/humidity in there. It has an intake at the end but I haven't set it up to use again. That's why I will be using the bigger room even though basically only half. I don't use air in my hps hood during the winter(stays@<75*) so I assume that just my passive filtered intake and filter/fan(10inch) out that is already in place will be plenty.

Your garden is a beautiful sight brother. Is 6 the final number of AT's you'll be running with the rest of the way? What size area are they occupying now? Did you mention what nutrients you're running with? I have more questions but don't want to bombard you with ones that aren't relevant til later on in the grow. Keep it up!

It is actually 7AT's as of now...there is one where I was standing after I took the pics. There is 7 rows of 3(plants), plus one extra girl on the end, so I put light#7 sideways middle at the end to cover the end and the +1.
My soil is basically subcools super soil recipe so I won't really be using any nutrients. I always use molasses. I have GH's general organics bloom and calmg, plus some tea's and guano if I need to add anything later on. All organic baby. and samples out the ass of things like roots uprising, H&G shooting powder, and some other off brands that I could use. But I will rely mostly on keeping a healthy micro life in my soil.
They are all the same. The fans are only at one end, the other side is just like the long sides(vented)...my lights are facing opposite ways so you are seeing both of the ends.
I have two BR's but only one in use(back corner). It is just not the best over all light like the R2's (still slightly flower bias). I would love to see what an R3 would do just for flower. But R4 is just a little too much red I think. They grow shorter/squater plants for sure. But they are still good (that's why I have them).
My hanging count as of today is (4)WR2's, (2)WR1's, (1)BR4. Then an extra BR4 on reserve to get to 8 total.

The videos aren't on the exact update days, but ya a little under 5 weeks veg(32days). They are TGA BlackCherrySoda x Blackberry and are pure indicas and that is why they are nice and squat bushes. And they were topped, and once I do that they really don't go vertical very much. But that is my idea so I can have an even canopy. I just flipped and they haven't stretched yet too so they will about double. My lights are 16"-20" over the canopy. The last week of veg they could have used a little more light(1 more) then I gave them, once transplanted they took up a lot more space.
I'm ordering my own PAR meter so I will really be able to dial the optimal light conditions for my canopy. And test whatever I want whenever I want to.
green with envy ... When you get it Please do take some good comparative measurements at the canopy, below the canopy and similar to outdoors with distance from the light. pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee?

I want to get a light rail/mover. I think that it would really improve the distribution. I only want to move them like 12" each way but I think it would make a big difference. I could run them closer and not have to worry about coverage as much. Plus no over intense spots for too long.
They are pricey and I might need 2. The LR5 is rated to 100lbs...each apache is 15+lbs and I want to move 6... = 90lbs+calbles and attachments, it could be close.
What do you guys think?

I can think of two possibilities.
1. mount the lights on a pipe that is suspended from the ceiling, and just move the pipe by 12" back and forth. No real weight on the light mover. not sure if thats possible.
2. Leave most of the lights in a fixed position and move only a few of them. You could mimic a sun pattern.

About $375 plus some accessories to get them all on there.
If I use one mover it will have an "H" pattern for 4 and then a trolly attachment for the other 2...6 moving total. The trolly could hold the "H" patten also to move 8 but then the weight would definitely be too much.
If I use two movers, each mover will move a bar fixture, like your talking about, with 4 on each. But the whole bar thing would move as one...still has to hang from the mover and counts as weight though.
I'm thinking I can make one rail work. 6 moving is fine, I'm sure I can jimmy to hold a little extra.

Ya but doesn't it void the warranty on a mover if you put too much weight on it when it fries the motor? Idk just talking out loud since that could be a problem down the road for ya since I think the motor would be the first thing to go on it.

No tags it's too close to max weight/ your in the danger zone! never go over 75%. You can ghetto it by adding light/sturdy particle board to the side of any fixture/panel/reflector and with a strong oscillating!circulation fans hitting it will move it back and forth a couple of inches on those rope ratches. OR buy light movers that can deal with the appropriate weight and be done with it

I think it could handle 6 (90lbs)...they say it could handle 9 hoods which is over 100lbs. Specially with a little reinforcement. And since I only need 15" movement, I could stabilize the rest of the rail that doesn't get rolled on. I wasn't really thinking about the motor not being enough...just the track breaking. I might just get one and then get the second for the next run. I still need these AT's to pay for themselves and then I will have some cash.
Just because my other panels aren't up in here...doesn't mean they aren't being used elsewhere.
