Aphid problem.

I was having a problem with Aphid the pesky little dam flies. I had some adults flying around the room every once in awhile and two of my bigger pots were infested with babies. Those pots I have taken out of the room.
Now my problem isn't so much the Aphids but the poison I used to try and get rid of them. I was using Aza Max on previous grows but the guy at my local grow shop suggested Natural Pyrethrin Concentrate. At first it seemed to be working but the infestation is still in the bigger pots and now every plant I used some of it on seems to be dying. The plants start showing signs of heat stress where the leaves curl up and burn but I know it's not heat stress. Any suggestions maybe on how to clear up the plants or are the strains ruined for good?
I've even tried cloning the strains I was having issues with but even the clones start showing the same signs.

Ladybugs! I also suggest neem oil. Reapply every day or every other. I use SNS 209 from beginning to end. It keeps almost everything away and gets rid of gnats and aphids too at triple strength, but I've never had a terrible aphid problem, just mild so I'm not sure if the sns will help.

How did you apply the pesticide? Did you do a foliage spray? What time of day (in relation to your light cycle)? Did you dilute it properly?

The fact that even your clones are exhibiting the same "disease" suggests (to me, at least) that you need to flush your plants thoroughly, maybe 2-3 times over the next 7-10 days. I think I'd even over-spray the foliage with a properly pH'd room temp water, to attack this from both ends. It sounds like the plants need the chemicals flushed out of them. Then you'll need to let your soil(s) dry thoroughly and probably do a light nutrient application on the first watering after you've flushed thoroughly.

As for the bigger plants that you isolated, there is a lot of good information on this site about how to treat for aphids. Shoot me a message if you're having a hard time finding what you need.

I applied it by adding it to some water in a spray bottle and spraying the soil at different times of the day. I'm still having issues though and I slowly keep losing plants and strains. I'm actually afraid eventually I'm going to lose every strain I had because I used the pesticide practically on every plant at least in small amounts trying to keep the aphids away. I've thrown that pesticide away though and I'm back with using Aza Max if I have any aphid issues. For now I keep trying to save what strains I have by doing what Gramaw suggested and really flushing everything out for awhile. But so far every plant almost has started showing signs of the poison.

Good news though if I do have to start over again from scratch I will have more strains by the end of the week hopefully and their better quality.

Neem is the way to go, it organic and does a great job on mold and all bugs, but second to Neem Oil is Pyrethrin, its also natural chemical, and has a short existence under UV light or the sun, and hids lighting too, but its a very big stick to wack a tiny aphid, cheaper and better chems about!!!

After all the issues I've had I will NEVER use Pyrethrin again. I have a friend out in Cali who is a grower himself and he also uses the Aza Max for any issues he has. I do have Neem Oil I got from Lowes but I'm afraid to use it and I already know the Aza Max works and is safe.

Flush flush flush. Give those ladies lots of fresh water and it will help them recover from the Chems.

Azamax didn't work on my Aphids, that is why they are back. Did a drench (literally put the stuff into my rez) did this twice in 10 days. They are back, granted the numbers were lowered but they are still there.

Making the soil even more wet wont get rid of aphids either though yktind. They actually like when the soil is wet. I've actually found one of the best methods for fighting them is letting your soil dry completely and only watering it when it really needs it and no extra water just bare minimum. They hate dry soil.

And to SirSteely... I have started really flushing everything but so far it hasn't helped. I'm going to keep trying because I have some really good strains I'd like not to lose but if they don't start getting better I think I'll just end up starting over.
But would distilled water be even better for flushing them or is spring water just as good?

That's what I did with my outside plants. Unfortunately my indoor garden is LP Aeroponics and I cannot let my medium dry out. Probably why this has been such an issue (which btw out of at least 5 flowering cycles haven't had this issue)

I've never messed with Aeroponics but I have started messing with an ebb and flow system. If you can... just cover and block everything so the aphids can't get to the roots but that might be way easier said than done.

It looks like I got a aphid problem......... One of four plants has lots of little critters, having a party in my perlite. I haven't noticed any damage yet, and I haven't noticed anything flying. But my cool tubes seem to kill flying crap in the past.

Just hit 12/12 so bit of bummer, how long do they take to die when drying out my medium? I think I'll just remove the plant and let it dry in another room lol.

If you have certain pots that are way worse then it might be a good idea to take them to another room but more than likely every pot has at least one little fucker in it. Try letting your grow medium really dry out though.

Oddly enough it was only one pot, I think all my plants in separate trays stopped em from spreading. Perlite is well and truly dried out, the plant is burning. Though today it looked like I have won the battle. Hundreds dead and I don't see anything moving

I'm going to leave it one more day the flush the crap out of it and chuck it back in the tent.
