Apocalyptic Blueberry

I'll give them icy water for the first time today, on the coming week I'll post pics with the progress and the changes. The big coal on the left side plant is almost as big as my forearm :mrgreen: I'll try to put some pics with a ruler next to it or to measure the coals. Most likely you may say the plants still have 2 weeks at least to go...but I am too anxious, and 12 weeks will be enough I hope.

have you sampled? I'm very impressed with your results with the cfl's.

how does she smell when you touch her?

Geez man, our plants are so close in ripeness is funny. They really put on some weight since the last pics. And ya, like blueballz (lol) was saying, howz the smell after you touch the sugar leaves smell? Is it smellin like pie or somthing else? No purpleness yet huh? Hopefully when its ready to chop but dont worry even if it doesnt change colors. I had some a while back that was green and tasted totally like blueberry :):):)
 
Great grow, going to be hard to let them finish completely. Have you scoped the trichs? I think that as long as you have the white hairs they are not ready, but it really comes down to those trichs getting cloudy. I am guilty of early harvests but learned my lesson with the first grow that went full term with almost all trichs cloudy, was better quality smoke in every respect. Very nice looking plants, hope my single little Blueberry turns out as well. I'll be taking cuttings when it gets big enough while still in veg, to have around to grow next run. Nice work!

maybe I got used with the smell and I don't feel it so much, but in any case if not touched they smell a bit different compared with my previous grow...I mean it's not that well known weed smell, it's a bit more...sweet/perfume like; if light touched, then the smell gets very intense. I checked it yesterday with the scope and most of the trichs are cloudy

no purple yet, I'll see how it goes this week with the icy water and the open window:mrgreen:

thank you very much man, the trichs, majority are cloudy, I'll see how they get this week

What does algae juice do for them?

Do you feel it served it's purpose?

Might be a nice tasting strain, but one thing is fore sure...takes a lot of time to develop...so one of the conclusions would be...if you are dry and you don't have anywhere to get some other then what you grow...better to chose some quicker one and the blueberry grow it when you have supplies to keep you while it's developing...long way since the 21st of December...long way and the "thirst" is big...haven't had any since...October last year

I remember when I grew mine, I sampled the whole time it was drying..I was out of smoke.
but after a two, or three week cure, what was left had a stronger smell, and the buds got a purple hue.
the smell when I broke open a bud was just like juicy fruit gum. That's what came to my mind anyway.
I never got a blueberry smell. :roll:Now it says my post is too short wtf??

When I went to the grow shop the dude there had 2 products, one was the algae juice and one was the guano juice. I've asked him what would he recommend and he told me from his point of view and experience would be better to go with the algae juice ( the prices are the same for this products) so...thank you dude from grow shop, all worked well.

definitely the smell is different compared with what I grew previously. Don't know really how to describe it, sometimes I fell a chocolate kind of smell , my fiancee is saying it smells like a goat's tit ...I don't know how that smells and I don't think she knows either, but it's a plastic comparison. No fruity smell or anything like that.
 
Day 78 into flowering, all well, soil still moist. Tomorrow I'll try to take some macro pics on the frost to compare it with the pics from yesterday.
