apollo 600 watt digital mh/hps

Well i just purchased this off ebay from seller low-baller. Anyone had any experience witg this light or seller? It was rather cheap at 139$ i impulsuvly jumped on it and now I'm worried about the quality of yhe setup and credibility of the seller. Also if the lights good which seeds would be best? First time grower basiclly and no clue how many that light will effectivly grow also havr a.175 mh and another 150hps i can use for.clones and a mother. trying to get a small op going to support mine and my familys smoking habit and.maybe a bit to sale in oreder to fecover the costs and upgrade my bathroom to a grow tent instead of a bathroom lol

i run 2 of them in the same tent .............they will do u fine the only issuse about this light is the dimmable thing (dimming the light lowers the power and pulses of engery tho the light altering how the light works changing the light waves it admits and since it is lower and not a steady for what is designed for it does lower the life of the bulb)

but aslong as u keep it running at 100% everything is fine with it (they have a 5 year rebuild or replace on the ballast it self ) your impluse was a good buy

as for the seller ............yes they are even on amazon ( to make it there they have to be somewhat decent since they do not want the brand name impacted with assholes selling bad stuff) ......they sold me my 2 lights i got the whole kit

when u upgrade later ........look for ones that are listed as dail a watt or programable ........they will run 400 600 and 1000w u just pick it put the bulb in and turn it on runs full power for that watt

Yep, HID's do produce a fair ammt of heat. if you get a tent, you will want an inline fan to keep it cool. Most likely carbon filter > lights > exhaust (clean, filtered air)

yes they do make a good amount of heat

the HPS even more so due to infer red it makes .............u do need a cool tube ducting and a inline fan

basically the tube/light is the start point of the exhust system it recycle the air in the room and removes the heat from the room/light

this hood is my fav...........u will need to go to home depot and get more nuts and bolts to completely do all the holes..........................bag saids #8-32 x 3/8" ......that is for the nutz and bolts i used to finish it
ducting ..........always use the flexie stuff never the semi ridge
fan this is the one i have .............it has the lowest noise lvl on the market sounds like a fan on medium when ducting is on ........400 cfms it will match the tube i showed

u will need hose clamps atleast 4 of them 1 cooltube 2 fan suck 3 fan blow 4 vent point..............if u have the extra cash u see that varible speed controller it is linked below the main pic with the ducting u would need .............that will allow u to slow the speed it would make the room warmed or use it at maximum power

the heat is all a matter of the amount of air u move in a min

no fan some where in the range of 120 or higher ..........weak fan will be somewhere in the range of 90 100 ...........strong fan 10 degrees above the intake

They get relativly hot but a 400 cfm fan will take care of it. I run a 600 with a wing and a hydrofarm 8inch booster cools the4x4 tent just fine. If ur running air cooled hood you can go smaller like a 6 inch canfan. Oh and im running 14 grape apes under it. If u wanna check it out. FINALLY grape ape sog is on! Look it up man.
