Applejack DWC Grow

Thought I'd throw up some pictures of my single Seedism Applejack DWC grow. Using a 600w MH/HPS and 400w LED for lighting. The DWC is a simple 5 gallon bucket setup currently but I'm expanding the system due to the speed the plant drinks the nutrient solution, maybe a combined bucket setup totaling 10-15gallons/week. Ph sits right at about 5.8-5.9. I'm using the General Hydroponics FloraDuo system along with all the supplements for the nutrients. Really need to tidy up, my area I had setup for growing normally is getting work done so I'm making do with a corner in a spare room.

Looking ace. Planing to prune/train her at all? She's getting big!

She's already been FIM'd once and has finally stalled out somewhat on the upward growth. I've not had any experience with this strain so I'm not sure how much size I'll get added during the next month and a half. Hopefully I won't have to do much tinkering with the plant. It doesn't seem to be as bushy as other strains I've grown so the light penertration is excellent. I guess that is a Sativa trait? No expert here so I'm not sure.

Another week down, a few more shots below. Already getting a lot of frost! Feb 22 is the estimated finish date so the long wait continues.... Still waiting on my electrical work in my new grow area to get finished. With luck I'll post some pictures soon of the new updated grow area.

And yet another week down for the lone Applejack I have growing. She is really filling out well now and appears to have finally stalled the upward growth.

I always find them easy to grow, but I tend to veg them a bit less, maybe 4 weeks only.

Just an update. She's still filling out nicely and the smell in the room is just great! An additional 600w HPS has joined the party for its final month of flowering. Its aimed at lower branches to help those lower branches along. Definitely going to do some trimming on next run.

Well it's all done and chopped! This was a week ago now. Early tests on the bud are GREAT! I'm loving the Sativa buzz. The flavor is still developing but has a fruity flavor to it while the smell is pseudo strong.
