Hello SLIMSMOKEY420,
I have been doing DW aquaponics for a while now and I say yes go grow...If you read my journal I also love my dirty water and not worry about being so sterile and clean with everything. In nature plants clean dirty water by living off the waste of fish and other plants so why wouldn't it work for indoor grows? Look up nitrates and nitrites where fish waste is converted feeding your plants. I supplement with MiracleGrow for some of the trace minerals. I would make sure that there is some clean fish water is mixed in to not choke the roots. Something about clean water holding more air than dirty water. Too stoned here and I'm not sure if any of this makes any sense. lol
When I grow DW I make sure some parts of the roots are not submerged in the water giving the roots air. The plant drowns and dies if the entire root system is submerged. I use Rockwool cubes submerging 1/4 to 1/2 of the cube in net pots adding a lava rock or more Rockwool on the bottom of net pot to raise and keep the cube above the water line.
Happy growing,
Marc
[/QUOTE hey thanks man, u gave me hope for it, im trying a bubble ponics grow now using fish water and aquarium rocks and the plant seems to be doing fine, its almost as big as the one i started 2 weeks prior in miracle grow potting soil
