my first grow (bigger plant) i flushed for about 9 days. even though theyre hydro i still wanted it to be "clean" tasting and to great success. but on my littler plant i only flushed for 2 days and hadnt really noticed anything in the taste department but noticed the burnt material to be dark and not ashy. well see on my new grow what happens. check it out btw.

I didn't get that impression at all ... i think Woodsmaneh! is saying that if flushing had reproducible merit, the big growers would do it. The submessage I am getting is that deliberately starving your plants in the last coupla weeks will affect yield and won't improve quality. Jmo. cn

Maybe that's why we call hydro 'fire' weed around here because it makes you cough so much and is harsh.
Damn large scale and small scale commercial hydroponic growers, arrogant and small minded, have reduced quality to achieve quantity.

You need to smoke some good quality bud and bubble it through your hydroponic set up so your plants can get high. Your plants are terminally ill at this point and death is imminent, might as well let them feel good for the last couple weeks of life. Plus it increases there appetite for nutes.

i started adding GH's Khool Bloom and she didnt like it at all. That and the fact that she wasnt really expected to live past 2 weeks old. was kinda retarded as a seedling too. But still yielded me nearly 3 oz dry.
