Well can't argue with that logic.

Although I am somewhat limited by the 2x4, I can go an easy 8" height-wise so should be able to take advantage of the full 377 you've tested it at :blsmoke:

Gotta say, your thread and posts on these Shenzen boards have been a real find when doing research on QBs!

Just look at the par maps to give you an indication of hanging height.
Is that '8 inches or 8 feet?'........? Said the actress to the Bishop :lol:

I suppose that's 8 feet and upwards, I do have low indica autos but 8 inches would be cutting it a bit short I'd think.

Inches, feet....I can feel my head refusing to wrap itself around it as a (metric)European if you'll have me excused lmao :-)

Hi! Alibaba is just a site who regroup many different Chinese sellers! There is good and bad sellers everywhere(ok maybe more on alibaba) but the fact is that many serious U.S. and E.U cie work with sellers there! You just need to read the comments and to know how long they doing business on Alibaba this will indicate you where to go and don't!
When I advise people to go on Alibaba I precise which seller to go to because I have already buy things from them not because price are attractive(but they are because it is where they made the products and they are not over taxed by their politics! And they know how to do businesses!)
A major part of cxb3590 3500k CD DIY panels made late 2015 early 2016 come from Kingbrite! When it was real DIY! Now you get a DIY kit and you need a screwdriver and a few neurons to link a few wire...you don't even need to use thermal paste! And I like to stay in the 1$/watt area (4 × lm301b 288 diodes board = 120$ + 1 HLG 185h 1400b or maybe the 240h 1400b so 45 or 65$ + shipping 40$)
Real DIY allow you to split prices in half if not in 3! And when you never have any issue with a seller for over 3 years maybe you should stick to him!

Hi! I have a friend who only have 4 feet in height to grow he use to have turbo neon but I convince him to go with led and he choose vero13 @500mA he have 4 over each ft2 so 32 over a 2x4! Since he grow 2 times more weight! So you can split your space in 2 part or keep 6 feet(180cm! It is easy 1 foot is 30cm! And 1 inch is 2,5cm! Your system is complicate why 10 inch is not equal to 1 foot!?!? Same for °F !??? At 0°C water freeze and at 100°C it boil pretty logic no? What happen at 0°F or 100°F...nothing!) for bloom and use 2 feet for vegg!?!(or maybe you already have a vegg room!)
I don't think qb's at low Amp have a crazy penetration I would say they are effective on 2 feet no more(60cm)! So no need to have too big plants! Since SCROG is the best method to get the best of the light coverage 2 feet of buds is what we get from the net and under the net you have maybe 1 feet of plant plus 6 inch of pot! So 6 feet is enough to get between 1.3 & 1.7 gpw after 4/5 weeks vegg!

About Alibaba most of the cxb3590 built made 3 years ago came from there and especially from Kingbrite! I still buy from them because they have legit products at the best prices with an awesome customer service(since they work with US and EU a lot) To me it is the best Alibaba seller you can ask him a lots of services to avoid more fees with custom : ) !
30$ for a lm301b board and 40$ for the driver...160$ for 200w of top bin samsung(plus 20$ wires screw hang and a small aluminium plate) 180$ if you prefer run it at 60w so 200$! So 500w is 400$ a bit less than half price!!!
I build my first panel of cxb3590 3 years ago and everything still working very well(I just need to replace the 3 years old thermal paste with some graphic pads soon but that's it and it is only to do thing right and prolonged cobs life!) And everything I bought or someone I know bought is still in function with great results! That's why I don't understand why people still looking for a legit and safe Chinese seller as there is already one since years!

yeah, I realize that now the more I look into it.. I just ended up ordering some dimmers from Rita lol.. 12$ each plus shipping.. but next time I would try the potentiometer route

Yeah, I think I'm going for a two-tier setup next year, in the same cabinet. Want to see how the room runs first, as it's an apartment grow :-)

There are amazing lights on Aliexpress! But in my country i need to pay 30 or 35% plus of the shipment price. How much do you guys pay for customs and added value? It is really a big pain when ordering.

Yep, same case here.

i.e. a 200$ light will be over 300$ shipped. This would be the same if I ordered from Timber, HLG or AliBaba.

AB just gives me the most out of every $ as of today.

Qkwin is a good store i bought a light from them its top quality Mastergrow has also bunch of great lights.

Thats how i bought my Qkwin chinese light. Most of their lights have 0 to 3 orders but this one is above 200 and almost all 5 star.
I doubt it would be a bad move to order the other lights from them since they kick ass with their best seller

Buy cheap and pay down the road. My guy runs ² 256 hps, and I showed him my leds amazon and how my girls lookk. Straight jealously cuz. 1 run 1/4 his power and I have less stretch than he has ever seen. To each their own. Rasta jedi said these plants have been around since dinos. Their not gonna die, it may not be what YOU want but min you get what you get
