That's so awesome!
It'd be cooler with an ND filter and a lens that focused closer, but that's all I got. That's so awesome!
Oh the AT600. I'd use one, but I like my cobs more. This thread is funny...
What cobs are is every back yard hacker grow light wanna be builders dream come true.
A lot of light in a small package that any trained monkey can mount to a heat sink following what a few on this site have laid the groundwork for.
They are not and I believe will not replace a mono system that is "engineered" by a true lighting company with the proper resources for design and manufacture.
Your all till trying to clobber the performance of the AT600, has it really happened yet?
at600 uses white phosphor cool white. its not a mono only panel. actually I believe its has been surpassed by gg himselfThis thread is funny...

So you boys are not classifying a single diode 5000/6500K as a mono?at600 uses white phosphor cool white. its not a mono only panel. actually I believe its has been surpassed by gg himself
Generally mono=monochromatic not monodiode. So you boys are not classifying a single diode 5000/6500K as a mono?
Check the cree XPG-3 datasheet. Up to 190 LPW at 1W and the XML2 at 170LPW at 2W.Prove it, especially with the white single diodes. Cobs have like, a bunch of leds, all running at a few milliamps. Like, a bunch. It's hard to compete with that.
I need to try to take a picture. Hey @BOBBY_G do you have welding glasses? I bet those would be great.
Very well stated. This thread is funny...

Glad you mentioned the SunCloak. Many overlooked this light.....or that Sun Cloak, too!!!!!
