Hi I'm pretty new to growing weed. We're 1 week and a day in and we have kind of a "thrown together" set up and so far we've gotten (out of the 30 seeds planted) 5 sprouts and probably another 7-10 germinated (we just threw em straight into the rapid rooter peat medium we've decided to go with). The temperature sometimes drops to 60 but we try to keep it around 70 to 80 degrees but we are also limited in the power department as this is a pantry (in the kitchen) growing op. so things like space heaters are a no go on the same outlet as the light. The humidity sometimes gets up to 90% (the highest we recorded was 93%) but we usually catch it and bring it down with a simple osculating fan. We have one big bright "blue" 85 watt 120 V light going for sprouting. We also have tin foil all around it so that the heat is reflected back on the plants.
Now I'm noticing that 3 of the 5 sprouted plants are starting to look kind of weak. Of those three weak sprouts 1 of them is lying on it's side and looks close to death (keep in mind that these are pretty new sprouts). Another of the weaker sprouts is bending and not as straight as some of the others and the third looks ok except for this white spot on the bottom half of the new sprout (kind of a small dull whitish patch).
Now the two health ones on the other hand are both growing straight and tall. One has opened completely and has the two itty bitty baby leaves and the other one is mostly open with the leaves looking healthy as well
When they are ready we will be moving them to a closet in my room and we will be using a Bubbleponics hydro system. I was wondering when should we move our little babies to the hydro system? How do we make the transition easy on the plants? And if we have a 54 watt bulb for the "red" light will that be enough? If not would putting that 85 watt blue bulb in with it be enough. (We're hoping for at least 6 plants).
So if the 54 watt and the 85 watt aren't enough what's the minimum we can get to be enough for the 6 plants we hope for.
Also any general advice or tips would be greatly appreciated
