Sup guys strain royal queen northern light 2 weeks old today!! What y'all think. And size pot should I go with!

Good size closet I can fit 6.. 3-5 gallon pots!! But my thing are thy ready ? At 2weeks or its still early

Try going a little longer. Ready your pots. Punch my Avitar (the photo on the left) and go to my journal. I have some ideas. I usually wait until it makes the fourth full leaf at least. When you transplant you can tip the top according to Uncle Ben's technique at the same time.

I don't know what system you may have but I have read about a real interesting pot on you tube. I'm thinking about giving it a go next time.

I use those same 1 gallon pots for my entire grows sometimes.... it's all in how you grow and what it is your trying to do.
Someone before me said to wait a bit longer.. you said 2 weeks.. I agree with the cat that said to wait. If you do transplant them give them a bit longer for a bit stronger root 'just in case'. They look good.

ok i checked on them today and roots are sticking out the drain wholes !!!
I don't think they have a solid root mass yet and they do to need transplanting at present. If the decision was mine, I would choose to wait. I have transplanted prematurely before and while my plants did survive, what should have been a root mass turned out to be loose soil I just slopped into a new pot. It woks, but it's not as tidy as waiting for a more established root mass IMO

You tip it over while supporting the plant at the stem and carefully ease the pot up. If ya see a bunch of roots, it's time to transplant. If a bunch of dirt falls all over your arm, I was right and now you'd better transplant very carefully because you're about to shock the shit out of those little roots.
Hopefully I'm wrong, you'll see a root mass, and you can settle the pot back on until your bigger pot is ready.
Also search " transplant cannabis" on the YouTube, it's very helpful to watch so one do it, at least it was for me. Good luck

Sooner the better... if you don't mind wasting the soil for the males come flowering.
I like to try and switch mine to 12/12 to know the males before hand.

If you have roots coming out of the bottom, I would repot it personally. The longer you wait, the more damage will be done to the root system when you remove it. Let the pot almost dry out, this way the soil will stay around the roots and transplant it into the same type soil as not to shock it. I would put into its final pot if possible. This is how I do it, and I've never shocked a plant.As long as you are gentle, I don't think you will have any problem. I like the roots to be unrestricted as much as possible, for as long as possible.

Ok I'm take it back!! I just woke them up and checked and I don't see roots loool.. First time ever grower super Excited

If using soil always upgrade to 5 gallons for best results. As far as if they are ready to transplant now, what size container are they currently in? Basically the age-old philosophy when it comes to growing in soil is you want to maintain 1 gallon of your container for every foot of your plant's height. In other words, a 5 gallon bucket will maintain a plant up to 5 feet tall.
