Are My Plants Doing Ok??????

I am currently growing in a mix of organic MG and COCO coir 70/30. Im using a 300watt true dual spectrum bulb. Flushed the soil a week prior to planting. Water 6 plants once every 2 days with 1 litre of water shared equally and is also ph balanced. Planted seeds 10 days ago. I planted straight into 5 litre pots and keep the light as close as possible. They have been doing really well until today i noticed a slight discolouring on one of the leaves, and also im not sure if the they are at a good size for there age. Also are the stalks supposed to be so redish and if not is this a problem? I havnt added any nutrients to the soil yet either. Is there any suggestions or am i worrying about nothing? Hope the photos are ok.IMAG0191.jpgIMAG0184.jpg

Looking ok mate just don't stick to a watering shedule mine are a couple of weeks old and they only get watered every 3 or 4 days depending if they need it,you gotta let the roots go searching for water,I grow in coco only but I would start giving them 1/4 strength B.A.C coco grow A+B in week or so i think keep it simple with the nutes, check out some of my grows simple works, hope this helps mate

Cheers for the reply man!

What do you think about the red stalk situation or the 'red stalk'? Do you see that as a problem? And also with light height im keeping it as close as possible, do you have any recomendations on the light height for 300w dual cfl? I just feel they should be larger.....?

I wouldn't worry about the red stalk they all look like that, back off on the watering a bit you can try having a fan blowing over them this helps them thicken up a bit I just use a old pc fan with a 12v charger connected to it does the job, I thought you were using a hps not cfl but I guess the rules the same if the lights too hot on the back of hand then it's to hot for your girls,I think on cfl's you got to have them about a inch or 2 away otherwise they'll stretch too much

Sorry to keep asking but the dark purply colour on the leaves is getting worse, shown in the photos, and im not quite sure what to do about it, have you ever seen this before, or have you got any recomendations?IMAG0316.jpgIMAG0315.jpgIMAG0314.jpg
