Are my plants ruined?

monday will be end of week 6 of flower.
The lights went off at 5am.
Girlfriend opened bedroom door so light can get in the room and they had light on them for about 5 hours (10am).
I have closed the grow tent and shut the door to the room so it’s dark again in there.
Are my plants fucked?
How do I tell if they’re still good or if all this time was for nothing?

LOL!

Man, people make WAY too big a deal out of growing pot. A few hours of screwed up lighting isn't going to hurt anything. They're not even going to notice it. It takes DAYS of change for a plant to realize what's going on, not hours.

How do you think they've survived for a billion years without our help?

Well that’s a relief man. I’ve been stressing BAD. This is my first grow and I don’t wanna fuck anytbing up. They’re looking nice and frosty and it has be pumped. I just didn’t know and differed RUI community could help clarify if they’re fucked or not.

Nice looking first grow! As stated above, a bit of disruption to the light cycle won't cause any problems. Just make sure it doesn't happen regularly. If your GF can't wrap her head around your plant's need for 12 hours of dark you may have to leave the tent zipped up during lights off. Is there a reason you were leaving the the tent unzipped?

I usually have 1 flap of the tent open to help with temps. I usually get up at 5am for work and I have time to shut it when it’s time for lights to go off.
I’ve already had a talk with her and told her there can’t be ANY light. I think she got the point this time.
I told her she probably ruined the last 3-4 months of growing these plants and now she’s stressing about it, but when she gets back from the store I’ll let her know everything should be good, but in the mornings to keep that door shut.
And thanks! I’ve been trying to get everything down to a T. I messed up with watering in the beginning, so they could be bigger/ better I feel like, but next grow will be THAT much better

If they stay dark for 24/36/48 hours instead of 12 you're fine. It actually helps fill out flowers in the end if you do keep lights off for longer than 12 hours at a time. It also helps resins mature if you're having issues.

Take it easy on the old lady. In the long run the plants will likely be ok.
