There are things that are a must have for all growers in my opinion. Moisture meter, PH meter and good genetics. A little luck always helps.

The 3 in 1 moisture meters are garbage, also where they belong.

You get what you pay for there are several highly rated meters and yes the 3 n 1 are worthless

Also it's a lot cheaper just picking up the pot and feeling how heavy it is. It's free.
That what my problem was, I was using a ph and ec £15 meter, I bought a hanna submersible worth £170, within a week I seen the difference, I was phing with a broken pen so it was telling me 5.8 when really it was about 3.5.
After all that mess about never again will I trust cheap ph pens, with some advanced nutrients revive, thwy bounced right back and as you can tell are not looking bad at all

I find the more plants you begin with, (the beginner) the more you are going to screw up, keep number of plants to minimal, concentrate on that, get that right then you can try growing the amazon, welcome to RIU and good luck.

That’s why I use the Milwaukee 102 ph meter Consistently accurate great customer service.
To be fair it's not the first time with this many plants, just am new too cocoif you read my post I've been growing a long time, I always wanted too switch too coco as there is clear evidence coco returns a better yeild.
When growing in soil as I was used to the soil I bought was already enriched with nutrients, Where's I messed up is that when switching too coco I just watered with plain water at the beginning, now I know I should have gave it a good drink of nutrients at beginning before transplanting my clones. Then I only gave very low amount where as I should have had them on more nutrients. I have established a good feeding routine and now I have a ph pen that's not frying the plants. I know my yeild will hVe been effected greatly but I hate been defeated so had too keep going at them

I water/feed my coco every 2 days until run off. I tried everyday and they sure were overwatered as they started too droop

If the roots have filled the pot you can't overwater coco. Seedlings and small plants in huge pots should be fed like soil with dryback before the next feed.
Once plants have filled their pots feeding to significant runoff is best. Skipping feeding days can lead to problems.
