Are my trichomes milky?

Hey! I’m a first time grower and I’m not sure if my Pineapple Express is ready for harvest. I’m growing outdoors in SoCal (don’t know how much that plays a role). I’m attaching some pictures, but my buds didn’t bulk up how I thought and seeing a lot of advice on not being to eager to harvest makes me hesitant. I picked up a jewelers loupe from Amazon and took a look at my buds and saw some milk and spots of amber. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks in advance for the help!

They look "milky" to me too @keepthegreengrowin. Looks like some amber in there too. Oh, welcome to RIU !!

Dope! Appreciate the response and the welcome!

Give it some more time,it needs 2-3 more weeks.You will be disappointed if you harvest too early.

Never read the trichomes on sugar leaves for harvesting. They are always ahead of the Bud. If possible, locate a calyx under a Bud, and look at those trichs...much more informative as to the plants ripeness.

I was thinking that. Thanks for the confirmation I’ll hold off! I’m in no rush

Think you have a few weeks left at least no? Those white hairs look pretty much strait out.

Thanks! Good point. Glad you said that. I’ll look closer at the buds and wait a few weeks or so. I’m 80 days, so I should’ve known to wait haha

Probably! I’ll wait a few more weeks for sure. I’m glad I asked though! I can definitely sit tight. I figured my buds had some bulking up to do, but I wasn’t entirely sure.
