are the cops herrassing me

Ok so about 3 days ago me and 3 of my friends got pulled over for having our lights off in a parking lot and they caught me with some bud and my friend with some too... (why were we pulled over) then today we got pulled over while pulling into our own driveway for stopping past the line at a stop light. I gave the cops some shit and made him studder like a bitch and then his back up came (suprise the same cop that caught me 2 days ago). as soon as he stepped out of his car he said "i smell pot search the car". we havnt smoked at all since i got caught. he didnt find anything but he wrote us a ticket.... WE ARE GOING TO COURT AND WE ARE FIGHTING THIS. any advise would be awesome. this happend like 3 minutes ago and im heated heated heated please give me advise to rub these cops noses in there own shit.... TIME TO FIGHT

hmmm shitty... i am dealing with something like this also. i dont have any advise. only thing i can say is just go to court and fight it and hope either the cops that busted you are known for this kind of behavior or hope you get a sympathetic judge.

The cops likely won't even show at court and your ticket will be dropped. Unless he has a real vendetta against you (though if he did, he'd have planted something the second time, probably). Sounds like a douche cop.

ohh he'll show i challenged him lol i basically blew up because im so sick of this shit.... im going to tell the judge that im afraid to even leave my house and the cops were basically tellin me and my brother to leave there town and that they would stop.... basacally i have alot of money inherated and i think its time someone did something and i have a great case considering one of these cops just killed an innocent person while speeding with no lights on i might be over reacting but i am so sick of this

nah i dont think youre over reacting. but i do thing its not too smart to mouth off to a cop. i think when it comes to cops revenge is best in a subtle way. for example. dont blow up at them and yell at them. if anything just dont say anything and when it comes time for court thats when you could get back at them. either by saying what they did wrong. or simply just by getting off.

being mean to cops doesnt get you anything but more trouble.

no basically he asked if we knew why were being pulled over and i said (because the cops told me this last time) its because we have virginia tags and we are not in the nicest car.... you see when i was booked 3 days ago the cops told me to leave there town and they love to pick on tourists and he studered and said "i guess you read minds dont you smart ass" and i looked at him and smiled while he sat there studdering like a fuckin fool and i giggled. i didnt get in trouble but my bro got a ticket... But after being arrested you kind of tell yourself the next cop to fuck with you is really going to get it. then i asked him why pot was illegal and he said because they made it the law, i asked him for a real reason and he couldnt come with on. its so sad that we have laws that even cops dont understand truely a mark on the constitution

for having our front wheels slightly over the white line at a stop sign.... my brother said he pulled up slightly because he couldnt see around the corner.... we have an excellent case but im still afraid to leave my house because these people are stalking us he followed us for like 2 miles waiting for us to do something so slight

I would take all that inherited money and go find me another town. Sounds like you have earned yourself a reputation that is going to be hard to shake. Also..a person in your position might try a little anger management counseling. If you got the cojones to have an emotional puke session with a cop not much telling the reaction if some harmless old lady make you mad. Or better you could go to a Bible Believing Church and get yourself what is called Saved. The Lord will take them nasty old angry thoughts and deeds right out of your head/heart.

It's your word against his. He will just say he smelled weed, and voila he has the right to search your car. You would definitely lose. Your only hope is if he does not show up to court. That worked for me once with a red light ticket, I plead not guilty and the cop did not show up so I got off...I also tried it with an open container ticket, but the cop showed up. The judge asked me if I was ready to begin at which point I said I would like to change my plea at this time, and the cop gave me a dirty look from across the room.
