I have some experience with some of Subcools stuff. I've growN Jilly Bean, Agent Orange, Space Bomb, Chernobyl, Vortex and JTR. Subcool has amazing genetics, some of the best out there IMO, nad yes, they are all sativa dominate pretty much. But the confusion here is coming in because Pops is lookin' for a Sativa that finishes early (hard to find), Basically jhew wants a pure sativa with just enough afghan (if any) to make it quicker. Subcools strains are sativa dom hybrids, but more along the lines of a 50/50 "type" cross, that has big dense buds and so forth, and an "up type" high. Blue Dream, Green Crack, SSH, they all fit that same bill, which is NOT what Pops is lookin' for. Most peoiple nowdays, don't even know what a real sativa is, cause there is hardly any around any more. They are all hybrids, with the Afghan genetics showing up in them, other than flowering time.
Yes Subcool has some of the best sativa dom hybrids around for sure, buy they're not what your lookin' for Pops.

I agree with wheezer, there ain't many true Sativa's out there today

Like I said I haven't smoked anything like that Acapulco Gold, since the 1970's. Several people accused me of lacing it with PCP! lol!

Pure sativa's can be almost too strong, they are opposite of 'couch lock', your doing 'Roger Rabbitt' all day!

Mango Haze

This strain is a parallel line to the Super Silver Haze, i.e. it has the same Haze father and the mother is a sister of the SSH. Accordingly, the genetic makeup of this strain is 25% NL5, 25% Skunk and 50% Haze. The expected flowering times depend very much on the selection of the mother but in general will vary from 8 to 11 weeks, so it is a practical 50% sativa for indoor growing. It is suggested that if the room does not have much height, go directly into 12/12 with a rooted clone or seed. This will still give a 1-1.5 meter plant. Yields of this strain are expected to produce between 450-550 grams per square meter (based on using minimum of 600 watts lamps). Lower branches may be pruned during the grow or pre flower phase, so the Mango strain puts its energy into the cola flower clusters. This is a good way to manage this plant if growing more plants per square meter than normal is preferred. The resistance to moulds is a positive feature of this plant, both for indoor and outdoor growers. Mango is a very special plant if one is impressed by resin production, and the aroma is of fully ripe mangos. It is special plant affecting people's cerebral areas. The plant's ancestors were HTCC winners of numerous awards, so its pedigree is outstanding. It has been in the making for some years now, but we at MNS feel it is as ready as it ever will be. If only the serpent in the Garden of Eden had tempted Eve with a Mango Haze instead of a mere apple, the whole world would have understood so much more.

Heritage: Mango Haze
Category: The Naturals - Old school genetics
Family of breed: 25% NL5, 25% Skunk and 50% Haze
Breeder: Nevil and Shantibaba's
Preferred medium: Bio and Hydro, Indoors and outdoors/greenhouse
Expected yield: Indoors expect 450-550 grams but for the advanced grower a lot more possible. As an outdoor plant or G/h plant it can become exceptional.
Flowering period: In general flowering terms it will finish in 8 to 11 weeks, indoor. In the northern hemisphere it will only finish in southern parts like Spain, Italy, France etc... in October. In the southern hemisphere it will finish in April/May.
Recommendations: For the experienced growers to the most advanced. Highly valued as a finished product
Special Notes: This strain will astound the senses in all ways. If you are looking for that plant to impress your friends go no further...

I wouldn't mind having some of the old school sativas then. I like to smoke and get on with my life instead of just smoke and veg out... :( I'm way too young to have experienced the best of them so it seems... also I love Roger Rabbit but I can never remember who the fuc% framed him...

that mango haze looks pretty good, but I don't like how it has half indica in it.....

@shannon its out there, many people grow epic sativas just not very many compared to the collossus of indica growers... I'll be working on getting some serious sativa strains along with some of the potential seeds I already have and am getting.

yea that looks like a good one. Mr. Nice doesn't get much respect these days but they have amazing old school genetics in their corral over there.

I personally love the BD and 50/50 ish - up, happy blends but I'm growing the Power africas for friends who dig the racy stuff. It's Skunk#1/Haze x Durban Poison, that should make it 70%+ sativa? Doesn't look very Sativa like but I'm very anxious to post a finishing time and smoke report soon. If I can avoid the rippers I'll have a shit ton of it.
It's supposed to be finished by Oct 1. That ain't gonna happen, probably 2nd week Oct. That's still damn early for a mostly sativa mix.
Grew 2 seeds, no phenos, if I close my eyes and turn around... no Idea which plant I'm looking at.

Peace,
Hops

Panama Red from ACE. Real nice high 2 different phenos. I grew it indoors but it does well outdoors too. Pure sativa no indica. Reminds me of Colombian weed from the 70's. Sadly, I never got to try the Panama Red from that era. People said it was crazy stuff like 2 dimension vision, as in the Acapulco Gold story here.

This stuff is not crazy like that, but real quality high. No noids with this, just good times.
