Are there any GOOD small (6-8in) 120v Oscillating clip on fans?

Hi folks, I have been using clip on fans made for the car, with either 120v to car cigarette conversion plug ins, or I have been cutting the power cord and using a radio shack AC/DC plug in.

Either way the fans do not last long at all.

I was hoping some of you had a place where you bought Oscillating Clip on fans (small ones like 6-8inches, 6 preferred) that I could just plug into my regular wall outlet.

The ones with car chargers are becoming too much of a hassle to replace.

Thanks for reading!

I have 2 fans here, prob in the 6-8 inch range that I got from Walmart - battery operated deals ( not plug in ) but I got them in the camping section. Maybe 15 bucks each?? Hope it helps, even though extra $ for batteries.

Ive been looking for them also and theyre a hard thing to find in the store. Seems all the hydro stores sell the clipon NON oscillating fans though. I found one place "local" that carries them but of course they were soldout soo im waiting for more. Ive seen airking brand and vortech ones on amazon as well i just hate ordering anything online,id rather walk out of a store with it and check it out ya know?

I bought something similar to that Holmes model, (it's another one by holmes, very similar but white and slightly larger fan blades inside the cage) works fine except (of course) the oscillator itself started failing like a week after I started using it. Now it clicks and skips through it's oscillation pattern and makes way more noise than I can tolerate, so I use it stationary. Just a heads up before you buy that one.

Well, I now have the small fan situation under control. I could not find any decent 120v small oscillating fans, so instead I bought a bunch of the fans for your car at wally world. They were $9 each, and they require an adapter to run. I solved that problem by going online and ordering a 120v to 12v adapter (Regular wall plug in converter that has a slot for a car cigarette lighter), and also an adapter that transforms my 1 car outlet slot, into two car lighter slots.

It was a pain figuring it out, but I now have 4 of these oscillating fans running, and my airflow problem has been solved! It cost me about $40 total (4 $9 fans, two 120v to 12v cigarette adapters at $3 and two single outlet to dual outlet cigarette adapters at $3.

Sucks having to order the adapters off the internet, and getting the fans at a store, but..... In the end, it's well worth it!

I found some 6-8" clip on and oscillating fans at staples. I don't remember if there were some that were both as I was looking for an even smaller one but check the office stores. They even had some nice little mountables.
