Are these any goof for growing?

Hi, i can get my hands on some of these cheap
Integral Perform Pro Circular LED High Bay 150W 24750lm 4000K industrial lights.
Just wondering if the are any good for growing?

150 watt. Make a good veg light for a ~ 2ft x 2ft area. 4000K is ideal for vegging.
You could also flower with them at a push although most people are using lower K like 2700 - 3500K for flowering.

It is as a veg light i was thinking of using them.
I was thinking they are a bit blue for flower, but i was watching a Dr Bruce Bugbee video earlier and he states the light colour doesn't really affect yield.

You could always buy some supplemental red down the road if you want to flower with them. Even a few strings of GLA's Buddies in 660nm or the PC red would work great and be easy to implement.

My work threw away a bunch of Cree brand high bay led's after they burned up for the second time. Grabbed 20, I was sooooo excited. I was going to remove the laced cob array and replace it with GroMaus pucks or HLG qb96 elites. Got the lace torn off the first one, only to find Cree had milled the base of the heatsink so that each 20 watt cob sat on it's own individual post, which meant no way to mount a board flush. Asked a local machine shop what it would cost to mill the heatsinks flat; too much to be worth it.

Weird thing is, I couldn't give the fucking things away, not even to electronics recyclers. One told me "God no, I've got a small warehouse full of that kind of stuff ".

Iirc i am supposed to use 30w per square foot, (for flower) my tent is 16 square feet so 3 of these are 450w and would give me 28w per square foot.

Do you think they would be much worse for a flower cycle than a 600w hps?

Just after some ideas and opinions

Put the 4 in the 4 x 4 if u can.
I think they'll do ok.
You still haven't said if they are dimmable or not.......
If they are dim to 100 - 120 watts each for the 4 x 4ft
Stick a couple of these in and the red spectrum's covered....

Yeah it would be similar but the heat shouldn't be a problem this time of year.

One benefit would be 4 different points of light rather than the 1 with hps.
