Are these female? Help needed [PICS]

kinda hard to tell from those angles...... but you will see some very fine white pistils start to come out.... in my exp, between 3 days to 2 weeks. really all depends on how long the plant was in veg mode. i see plants turn over(thats what i call transition from veg to flower) much quicker if i let them show me their sex before setting into 12/12 hours. all depends on the strain. i'll see if i have any pics of some early pistil growth for ya. either way HAPPY GROWING!

The only way to know for sure if it's ready is to cut the top off and smoke it!
Don't even worry about drying it, when you put it in the bowl and hit it hard enough it will dry......

Ok. I tried taking some pictures but for some reason my iphone 4s is pure ass for taking macro shots so you end up not seeing anything. So I will describe with as many details as possible what I just saw. On danny between the nodes, there are like little balls growing. Some are on top of the others and so far I saw about 16 of these little balls in the main clusters at the end of the colas. On hope there are balls too but way less. Also, on her it seems that the balls that grew dont seem to have any others on top or around it. I also noticed if I look at the plant sideways with the light behind me, I can see some tiny hairs that are starting to grow out of the balls. They cant really be seen with the naked eye without reflecting light through them first, but they are there. So my conclusion is that Danny is a boy. Hope is a girl. I will TRY MY BEST to get some decent macro pics shot with this. In case I cant ill just post pictures at the end of the week when the sex should be showing more clearly.
Due to my lack of a bowl, I cant try this yet. But if any of them show signs of being boys imma make them into butter and see what comes out. Maybe an emergency buzz for a rainy day at least xD
Hey friend. The reason I didnt veg for longer was because my vertical growth space without counting the huge light is about 16 inches, so I didnt want to risk having them outgrow the box.

Females will show sex with one calyx ("ball") and from there the pistols will start to come out, which will be your hairs obviously. The cluster of balls would indicate male. So I'm going to agree with you, Danny is male, Hope is female. As for BenFranklins advice, smoking the top of the plant right now?!? Why not just dig up the roots too and smoke those. Wash it all down with a tea brewed from the dirt too. I really hope he's joking. You could top Hope though and grow two main cola's.

@Ben Dude, I am so sorry. I tried to take pictures in every angle possible this morning and the pre flowers are just too small for the phone camera to focus on them. I can barely see them myself putting my face right in front of them. I promise I will post pictures as soon as I can take decent ones.
@ipeeinpools Yeah. Danny has a lot of small balls. Hope only has one with tiny little hairs. So I guess thats it xD. I might make 2 clones off Hope since she has 2 smaller branches near the bottom that probably wont get much light anyways. As for the topping, I had already topped them both.
Now what do you guys think I should do with Danny? I heard you could use males to make butter or to smoke the dried leaves? Any ideas? I would hate this last month and a half to have been for nothing.
