Are these late-flower hermies?!

My fellow growers I come to you in humble need of advice and consolation. I'm quite sure my beautiful Red Hair Skunk turned hermie over the course of the last week.

Some basic info:

- 10 "Red Hair Skunk" plants grown from feminized seed in 1000W room, well ventilated
- 8 weeks into flower
- Humidity 40-50% Temp 25C during lights on, 20C lights off
- Plants were FIM'ed and LST'ed up until end of veg
- pH ~6
- High quality soil
- DNF Hydroponics Grow/Bloom Formula (Went by the book), and Grotek Monster Bloom in Week 3 and 5 of flower

So I started my flush midway through this week, and was getting ready to crop very soon. I went in with my magnifying glass last night to check the trichomes, and I noticed the inside of the buds of ALL my plants were very "ball" like. I took a bud and picked through it, without finding seeds but finding alot of 'ball' like growth about the same size of seeds but with no consistency to it.

In a panic I cut some more tops off and dried them out, did some picking through and DID find some tiny seeds but nothing big.

I never noticed any "nanners" throughout the grow, and I tend to check my plants for pests, seeds, other problems daily. With that being said, I've not seen a 'nanner' with my own eyes before and pictures don't do as much justice because all plants are different. But I am just now seeing small pods right on top of calyxes along a lot of the colas I harvested.

OH yeah forgot to mention that. I panicked so much I cropped out then and there, hoping I caught it before my bud was full of big hearty seeds. They are now hanging and drying.

My question to you is, did I make the right call? Were they really hermies? Why did I not see this sooner? How did it happen? Did it/can it just happen overnight and this late in flower? Since I didn't get a full flush and took them early, should I worry about gross fertilizer taste in my weed even after drying and curing? Is this just how feminized plants grow? (I usually grow from clone)

Overall, my yield looks pretty good from what I can see, probably my highest ever, which makes this an even bigger pill to swallow. Lots of chrystal/trichomes though so I'm hoping it will be smokeable.

I quick-dried a few buds to try and they did taste a little fresh or maybe even chemically, I'm hoping that by leaving them hanging for a few days in a dry, crisp place with fans gently blowing over them will help cure, and therefore, help purge any leftover nutrients in the bud. I followed the directions, and watched for signs of deficiencies/toxicities throughout their life, and even toned it down to half a dose on their final feeding, because I noticed a few burnt tips around week 6.

The only real problem they had were a few became rather root bound and heavy around week 5 but those (except one) turned out the highest yield of all!

Thanks for the vote of confidence in the 'quality/looks', I was really proud of them and took really good care and never overdid anything. I'm hoping I can enjoy them as much now as I did growing them.
