Yup nanners alright. Don't appear to have opened yet. Either pluck them and fully inspect for more, doing so daily, or if ou risk other plants getting pollinated, then cut it down now.

Yes, how many are there throughout the plant? be very careful and pinch them fuckers off. make sure you look very closely and get them all. keep closely checking the plant daily and remove any new ones. how far in are you?

Man a lot of hermies lately here. Hate to see it. I usually kill them off, they don't produce like the others in your garden, but if you don't have many plants I can see it would fucking suck to chop it down. Sorry to see it man.

I figure I'll just cut the nanners clean off with a bit of the bud... I don't like the idea of plucking cuz i don't want any pollen to escape, lol...

I only have maybe one more week I'm 6 week into flowering its 6/7 week strain Northern lights seedsman.. no amber trichomes yet though.. I have 2 other small one's (bag seed) but of those small one's already had a nanner anyway.

Well that is a nanner and it has opened enough to drop pollen, although it has not yet fully opened...when it fully opens there won't be anything left...

Thanks for the quick responses guys.. I think your quicker then 911 ... not that I've ever called the police in my life. Except that one time when I was a kid and my sister tried to make me eat hot dogs for dinner.. I almost called then.

CLOSER INSPECTION: NANNERS ARE EVERYWHERE, SHIT... MAINLY AT THE TOP, One down in the middle.. What should I do?

Trichomes are not amber yet :|

Found 12 more.. clipped them off... The bottom is actually fine.. its the top thats doing it

Overall I'd say 14 About a joint's worth of bud. There's atleast 8 more aparently.. so up to 22

I hate to say it, but I don't think I'll be getting seedsman's seeds again. These were REGULAR seeds as well.

I was reading some bad things actually recently, I thought people were making up stuff....

were they all kind of evenly distributed across different stages of development or did it seem like most of them were older more developed ones or that most of them were younger less developed? how large is the plant overall? are some buds worse than others? sorry to ask so many questions, lol, but its a hard call to make at times.

Most of the nanners are on young bud sites, all at the top of the plant... Hardly none at all near the bottom (only found 1 little over half way up the plant).. it's a small plant like a meter. The top new pistils are heavily infested it seems, again 22 nanner sites I cut off so far. Some were just a single nanner or two.

I'm guessing I should chop sooner then later, or will it really make a difference? I take it the buds that already have brown pistils are safe since they are mature? I guess I'd rather wait until I see amber trichomes.

at this point i'd keep watching closely and plucking any of them you see for a few days. if it starts getting worse and the battle starts seeming like a lost cause it may best to chop early. one other thing to take into consideration is where in the bud they are appearing. if they start showing up inside the colas more and youve got to really dig in to get them out of the buds it would be best to chop.

Thanks a lot for the advice! Ya know what, I'm not freaking out... Atleast I will have seeds.. Maybe it just became stressed out I did have some nute lock out probs......... Atleast I will have seeds... i will not try to spread the pollen that's for sure, I'm sure enough will leak out naturally.

Just smoked a TINY bowl, for no amber trichomes not bad.. I swear when you dry it out the trichomes change anyway...

One question regarding hermies. Do the nanner sites appear to be redish in color? I seem to be spotting a few red spots on my plant and I was looking at yours and I see a pink tint or is it just your lighting?

Edit: I spotted some some nanners on ONE cola where the red spots were. Good thing I came across your thread Curto. I may have caught mine just in time, but we'll see.

The red/purple calyx's on mine are due to a nute lockout I had going on from over fertilizing I believe.... I have lots of purple at the bottom but no nanners at the bottom.. The top is all green, but filled with nanners, except that one calyx you see is purplish and had a nanner and it was at the top... Just a coincidence I think... I never realized what people meant by plucking, but after I cut off small buds, i realized that you can literally just pull the nanners off and they come right off...
