Nothing really to do with hairs..Your trichs are what you check..the first two look close... Remember patience will be rewarded....

If you don't have a scope, the hairs is all you have to go by. SO I would say wait until the hairs are 80 % anber at least. I also say you have 2 weeks or less left, Start flushing.

Being one that battled mites, I think it may be a mite problem. Go to Radio Shack and get a handheld microscope. They cost about $15 and will help you greatly in seeing the trichs and looking for pests also.

I got the same one cheaper and better than the one I got at the hydrostore for the same price and less magnification power. BTW ur baby is coming along but I would say approximately 2 weeks till the karate chop.

thank you all, I am going to radio shack right now... i think there are some kind of damn pests flying around in there. To late to deal with them know, right. Do you think it will hurt my babies in the next week?

Liquid seaweed will kill the mites, and foliar feed your plants. Just do it when the lights go out. My plants are in the same stage. However, Ike broke some top-heavy Branches, so I had to cut away, and trim. So I made a "Flower Arrangement". As you can see, they aren't ready, but I didn't have a choice. The "coffee cup" is actually an over sized vase to look like a coffee cup. I'll be a couple Oz's when dried.
