Are these the real deal?

Are these pics of actual, edible shrooms? I picked a bunch with a cousin of mine last night in some cow shit and he claims they are, and even ate a few last night to prove it to me, and he's still alive this morning lol. I'm still a bit leary though, so I figured I'd get some opinions from others who know what to look for.

Also, if they're good how many should I eat for the first time? They're quite small and they're fresh. I was told to eat them all, but I'm a bit leary of that as well lol.

If the dark blue/purplish colored ones were not originally that color than they are most likely hallucinogenic as the primary psychoactive in mushrooms, psilocybin turns blue/purple after undergoing oxidation. Mushroom weight it usually 90% water so if they are still freshly picked 20 grams would equal around 2 grams when dried which is a usual intro. dosage to the world of psychedelics. Though what you choose for a optimum dose is solely up to you but for a first timer I would not suggest going above 4 grams just yet...

I don't remember picking any with blue tops like that, it was dark and we were using a dim light to find them. For the most part all the mushrooms looked white under the light, so it's possible that they turned blue while in the bag. I cannot say for sure though.

About 180lbs. I should add that he claims to have 10 years of shroom ID under his belt. He lives in Florida and is only here visiting for a a month, so I question his judgement since I live in Michigan and different shrooms grow here.

Squeeze a part that is not blue, wait 10-20 minutes and if it turns blue you more than likely have a psilocybe cubensis. I'm not a cultivator of mushrooms or a picker of them any longer so I do not want to give you any advice that could potentially put your life at risk but with the information you've provided (picking them from cow dung) and appearance of those mushrooms it looks like your in the clear. Never forget that you are working with a DMT (endogenous psychoactive neurotransmitter) analogue though and the possibility of dangerous psychological repercussions may occur if not used responsible!

Yeah, that's another major reason I didn't eat them. He didn't even wash the fuckers. Just tossed them down the hatch with specks of shit on them still. The entire experience from picking them to him eating them was rather strange which adds to the doubt.

Appreciate the info. They are not turning blue, and I just had a guy from the shroomery forum tell me that none are magic so I'm just gonna toss them.

I have eaten shrooms before.. While I was High out of my mind @ 1am I decided it was a good time to go for a walk. ( I Live on a Big Ass Hill, once you go down.. .good luck) Well, long story short.. . I was wearing shorts & a under-shirt in 45degree weather.. When I reached the bottom of the hill I thought to myself.. "What the fuhk are you doing.?!." Worst walk/trip of my life. I was smoking a 3gram joint & could not stop rolling it between my fingers it felt so damn good. Like water. :O

Now that being said, I don't think I would Eat Shrooms fresh outta cow shyt.

shit won't kill you haha i grow so i know, but from those pictures it is quite difficult to distinguish what is what, shroomery has good info (mostly) so i wouldn't be concerned if you had found them, educate yourself so you know for the future :-D
